Hi Guys, wanted to ask the people who have already taken admission in the coveted B schools through OBC quota, which documents are required during the admission procedure so that i can get those documents at the earliest. From what i hear on this forum people say caste certificate, caste validity certificate and the NC OBC certificate...Can some of the seniors throw some light on the issue regarding the documents....Thank you

@AIM-IIM-BLACK : Do we need to take a print out of the NC OBC certificate format released today in website and get it signed ? 

I already have a similar certificate with all the necessary details mentioned in the CAT websites format. (slight change in the wordings ). I got it last month. (signed and sealed ) WIll that be sufficient ? Please advice.

I did not find any information related to SBC, SBC reservations & criterion.

Hi Puys, We need to send a copy of our NCOBC certificate for IIFT registration, my certificate was issued on 29/10/2013. Please let me know exactly if it will be valid for IIFT's and IIM's admission process.

Hi . I belong to the NC-OBC category. I am to appear for CAT 14. I have the OBC certificate issued by the Deputy collector. However, I do not have the Non-creamy layer certificate. Is is possible to register for CAT without the Non-creamy layer certificate? Also, if I am to apply now, how long will it take to obtain a Non-creamy layer certificate? Will I be able to get it before 30th September? Really distressed. Please help.

hey. I am appearing for CAT this year. I belong to the NC-OBC category. I had poor acads in past. Xth: 78.26. XIIth: 70%. BE: 58%  (Mumbai University). 14 months' work ex. Employee of the quarter for Quarter 2 of 2014. Member of various committees when in college. But someone told me all good colleges like IIMs, MDI, FMS, JBIMS are out of reach for me due to poor acads. True? If yes, which all colleges should I consider? Please help. Thanks in advance.

in nc-obc certificate do they consider ur parents annual income or your income since after 18  one is an adult so they shud consider our income and not our parents income.... bit confused // plz help

My dad voluntary retired in jan 2014 and his income was more than 6 lakh p.a. Would i be considered as a non creamy student?(heard that past three years are considered) and also what are the benefits fr creamy obc category student?(Is 27% reservation only for non creamy obc student?)

I have NC-OBC certificate of exactly the same format as mentioned. But it has been issued in 2009 during my IIT admissions. Can I use this for cat 2014 registration? It will be tough to get the updated one till September. I will be able to reproduce the most updated one during my interviews. Please advise me what to do?

My NC OBC certificate has my old residential address.I am staying away from my family now ,though in the same city..will i have to mention the old address in contact details while filling different mba forms to avail obc quota..or my present address..plz help !

Can't I upload the NCOBC certi issued by tehsildar ?I have got it last month.......or we r bound to send the certi available on CAT site
