I have nc obc certificate from sep 17 . Do i need a new one after 1st april 18 for IIMC
Hello everyone.. My father is a class 2 employee in state government with annual income of above 9 lacs. And my mother is a homemaker. Do I still come under OBC NCL category? Is there any problem I could face during admission process for having salary more than upper limit? Please help.
I am OBC NCL but I do not have any idea as to how to get the certificates. My father and grandfather are dead. They did not have any landed property as they used to look after large mass of land amassed by a corrupt IAS relative. Moreover my ancestral roots are in Motihari Bihar but I was born and brought up at Jamshedpur. I am unable to get the caste certificate based on my birth and schooling certificates, rest I don't know how to get the certificates Please guide and help me
These are the categories which are excluded from obc ncl. This will solve all your queries.Authentic document

Hi guys. My Academics: 86/78/69 for 10/12/BE. What percentile should I score for IIMs for NC OBC?
My NC-OBC certificate is dated 5th September,2017. Is there any validity period for the same coz in IIM Ranchi and IIM Nagpur interview , they asked me to submit a new one in case I get an admission offer . The block and tehesildar officer say that there is no such thing like validity for an NC-OBC certificate ?? Also I am hoping to convert IIT Bombay in next shortlist and hoping for some new iims calls..so in case I have to get a new certificate I will have to get it done asap. Please help
A general question-why the wat-pi cutoff of baby IIMs like amritsar, vizag and nagpur went very high.Previous year they called even at 75 percentile. And is it going to affect the waitlist movements of the other IIMs significantly?
Hello, IIM Ranchi is planning to organize Aspirant Meets 2018 in different cities across India on the 20th of May 2018 (tentatively). If you are interested in attending the same, please fill up the google form so we know which cities to conduct them in and the response to expect. Please fill this form by 11th May EOD: https://goo.gl/forms/oLPNLCdvSYXQuf342 P.S- The CAP and iim ranchi hrm results should be out by then and this should be a good opportunity to help clarify all your queries and get more information.
there is so much myth going round about the exaggeration regarding YEAR GAP . Let me be very clear to you all out there ,YEAR GAPS DONT MATTER in getting admission in any B School .
I graduated in 2013 ,Took job in 2014 ,resigned in Feb 2016 soley for CAT preparation .I got so many backlashes from my colleagues and then CAT aspirants . I scored worst 79 percentile . BTW my acads are not that great 10th-80 ,12th- 77 and UG -67% . I cleared NIRMA and BIMTECH that year .But after so much introspect i decided to give CAT one more shot and Boy'O'boy everyone around me was saying 2 years gap and no institute would admit you . But My father supported my decision . Fast Farward to this year ,i got 89 percentile ,Not that great to be honest . i got calls from new iims ,KJ som ,IIT roorkee, kanpur , GIM ,BIM ,FORE,TAPMI . And Big surprise I got call from IIM Indore . I wondered y did the call me lol.
I had in my mind 2 years of gap doing nothing . So i knew my drawback.i prepared hard for my GDPI and even attended IMT NAGPUR CD/PI just to get some Mock Interview type of preparation .
Results came ,And i converted each and every private colleges calls in first list itself excpet for KJ SOM and tapmi which i later conveted in second list . Then came big surprise .IIT kanpur sent me offer letter via post . It was my dream offer as IIT kanpur is great institute even for mBA. Conveted IIT roorkee 2 days after .
Then suddenly BIG news comes .I was offered IIM INDORE provisional admisiion letter day before yesterday . I still recall my decision to drop my 2nd year for CAT ANd my father's support .
Conclusion - I am not writing here to boast my achievement .I just want to encourage student who are somehow afraid to drop 1 year or even 2 years just to get teir 1 B school . These gap years are not waste ,These are investments for your Safe future . Its always better to drop an year to get into top college rather than joining any other bschool and struggling for many years to come for climbing up the corporate ladder . However if you are dropping a year then you will have to make sure you get into atleast top 20 bschools .You just have to do well in Personal interviews .
Will you prefer IIM nagpur / IIM Vizag over IIM Raipur / IIM Kashipur ?
