@manoj_msr : they did ask me 2 ques on what i had mentioned in my SOP...so in my panel i can definitely say dat they read d SOP's....some of the guys who had gone to give d intervw b4 me...mentioned d same dat dey were asked 1-2 ques on SOP...
For all the people concerned whether SOP plays any role or not, my entire interview revolved around what I had mentioned in my SOP. I had said that I wanted to get into Business Development after my MBA and they asked many commercial details of my organization and I guess I answered them to their satisfaction.
Now my question to all fellow puys here is towards the end of the interview I was asked about my other calls. I told them I had New IIMs, SPJIMR calls. One guy specifically asked me that I had an SPJIMR call !!.. Now what should this mean? Can they reject me thinking that this guy might or might not join finally. I know this is a trivial question but I have pinned my hopes on NMIMS.

Not exactly 😛 They could actually have been impressed by it, by the way it looks to me. A reject is not what is warranted here 😛 If they want you, they would thinking that this if this person does not come through winning through the SPJ interview, then he could join NMIMS.
They dont loose anything by giving a convert to someone who wont join...it would just make the WL movement go a liitle far, thats it

What are the facilities at NMIMS in terms of sports (football, cricket), gym, other recreational facilities etc? And what facilities are available in the hostel? Internet etc? I didn't remember a ground of any sort at the college, only canteens everywhere! 
till what list can we expect a call? on paper its 6 or 7 but what is it in reality?

No decent collg will ever reject someone on the assumption that they won't be joining as they have other , 'better' calls. It is downright unethical, not to mention petty. Mentioning your other calls is too insignificant a detail to work either for or against your selection.
There are a lot of people in this community who like to use this particular excuse as a sop or crutch, to deal with rejection. They are being delusional.
I'd suggest you not concern yourself too much with that particular answer. Whether you're selected or rejected, it would be on the basis of several other factors.
