what are the updates on waiting list, guys like me (W/L-77) have tough time.... what are chances??? can 3rd list be cleared inspite of some previous post suggesting 4th list may be drawn???

aditya_save, juz cillax dude... I know its easy to say but thats the only good thing u can do at this moment. I know that you also understand that ur admission is confirm only thing is the official confirmation which will come only after 16. so juz wait and get ur tickets and everything done by then be happy and optimistic.

Well this is gr8 news that 4th list wil be displayed this eve. !
Going by the impressive record of NITIE in displyaing the merit lists/ results asap, I m hoping that NITIE displays the confirmed admits from Waitlist 3 today eve itself, today being the last day to deposit fees.
had called up the nitie office. The said they can confirm that i am selected. They will be sending out the confirmation emails by today evening. My waitlist number was 55. See you all at NITIE!!
I too called NITIE, a person picked up and said 3rd waitlist has been cleared completely. I asked can i withdraw admission from some other college, he said let me confirm from higher authority, then he asked in a loud voice 'Madam 3rd list puri clear haina?' reply aaya: haan.
Then he said to me.. yes your admission is confirmed, you can report on 18th as well and you can withdraw from other colleges.

Hi Himanshu, As I also talked with NITIE officials, they told me my admission is almost certain but will get confirmation by evening 5pm. But from your reply, it seems 3rd waitlist have been cleared.. I hope me too joins you (W/L-77)
