The email is not confirmation.
I called NITIE they said they are just sending these mails to inform the students in case they are not aware of this.
But keep partying... and that too hard (and praying also, for waitlisted candidates after 50 like me)

people till waitlist 33 have been sent the mails along with me ...............ur name has been missed out i guess...........may be wrong email id ..............did u get the amil from mpact regarding activation of 3rd waitlist ?????????? if not u have given the incorrect mail id ......................just chillax nd call them uo tommorrow morning ...........i am sure u r through

yes dost.. i have got the mail from impact reg 3rd waitlist activation.. i too guess my email id have been missed out by mistake.. everytime i call them, they ask me to wait till 16th... n as himanshu says in the earlier post, i too feel it might be just a reminder mail... so i'll have to wait till 16th...

i am waitlisted no 79

big query---is the admission confirmed.
since it is my only convert i am yet to resign from the job
expert opinion awaited.
Guys I havent recieved any email. Still when I call up the admissions office I get to hear that wait till 16th June for the final results. My DD has reached them but still they are not ready to utter anything officially. I got the mail initially from IMPACT but didnt recieve the mail which u guys are talking about.

I called to nitie at 11.15 am.
A lady called Lalitha answered me.
Even though she refused to say anything about confirmation,
the tone was positive
anybody ,kindly cross check the same.

if u all go through the mail from nitie admissions carefully...........its clearly mentioned that u r selected and we have to make the payment by 16th ..............there are no ifs nd buts involved which is the case in the provisional offer letter which we have got from nitie through snail mail..................nitie is very judicious with the kind of languge used as for the offer letter its clearly mentioned that we will get admission only if the seats are left vacant ..................but this mail say something else altogether .................i guess its time for all of us to rejoice coz the entire waitlist has cleared ...............
