Hi Seniors,

Can you kindly let me know that the Character Certificate to be brought by us should be authorized by who?

My current employer isnt willing to give me the character certificate as its not in the companys code of conduct.

I am confused as to where should I get this Character Certificate from now?

Kindly guide me.

Ok Guys n Gals,

Here's some good news for all looking for educational loan. SBI will be providing with all the educational related expenses for NITIE students. This includes: College Fee, All types of other Deposits (Like Exam/Library/Security and others), Hostel, Mess, Books, Laptops, Blazers, Sundries and so on... The total loan amount is going to be Rs. 390,000/- (Now ain't this MBA from a Top 10 institute a value for Money... 😉 ). The salient features include:

1. A very attractive interest rate of 10.75% (When we got it, it was @ 11.25%)
2. All loan related initial processing in the college it self, So no need to visit the SBI Branch)
3. Provision of sending the loan related papers in your home city for signature from your guarantor/parents, in case they can't visit Mumbai when SBI asks for them
4. No collateral Required

It took a lot of effort from our side to convince SBI over point number 2 and 3

Refer to the attached pdf file for more details... Please note that This is just a sample form for your information only. You don't have to fill this form and send it. Only when you are in the college, we will initiate the process.

Ideally it should take not more than 10 Days - 2 Weeks time in case you parents visit SBI here in Mumbai. If they don't, then SBI will have to send the docs to the respective cities and get it signed from your parents there. This process may take as long as 3 weeks in normal circumstances.

We are planning to call the SBI Officials in the campus on 28th and 29th of June. Make sure you have all the following documents ready with you positively. All the originals wherever applicable and all the xeroxes of the following should be there, so that you don't face any problem when the SBI officials visit the campus.

With application (For Student):
- Three (3) photographs.
- Undertaking from college on their letterhead as per bank's format. The said format will be provided with application of loan from our Branch.
- Copy of correspondence confirming the admission.
- Fee structure for respective years.
- Engineering graduation certificate with mark sheets of all semesters.
- H.S.C./ 12th certificate.
- S.S.C./ 10th certificate.
- Copy of college I.D.card.
- Copy of Pass Port/Driving License/Pan Card/Election Card.
- Copy of Telephone bill/Electricity bill of residence.
- Undertaking that no loan is availed from any financial institution for this particular course.

For Co-Borrower i.e. Parent/Guardian:
- Two (2) passport size photographs
- Statement of bank account for last 6 months
- Signature identification from bankers
- Identity proof AND address proof
- Statement of asset & liability (Annexure 'A')
- Proof of income. (Recent salary slip plus Form 16/I.T. return of last 3 yrs.)

The identity proof, address and signature identification for the parents must be verified and authenticated by some government official (Typically from a manager of a Public Bank where your parents have an account).

The wait listed candidates will also receive their call letters... :)

As for wait list movement one needs to wait till the last date of the fee submission and that is 25th of May... As per my guess, the Waiting List should clear... So don't worry much... :)

In case you have a character certificate from your Engg. College than that will do fine.. Otherwise try to get one from your college... If you face any difficulty then let me know.. :)

No Amit,

You don't need to send those documents now if you have already submitted your fee. However make sure that you carry all those documents when you come to the college in June.

Continuing this post...I had applied for the refund on 5th may. Today I called them up, they said it will take 2 more weeks :-(. There is waiting for long time.

I applied for a refund on 12th and called up the office on 15th. They asked me to call back on 26th (next Monday). But going by the answers some of you are getting, looks like a long wait for the refund.......:(

An update..
Called up the office and asked wedr my letter has reached or not? after checking some data lady on the other side of the phone confirmed that they have recieved my letter and told me that after 15 days i'll get my cheque on the address supplied by me.

just curious....but is it still possible to cancel admission?? i am waitlisted at IIMK and would join if cleared... what is the latest date when admission can be cancelled???

I've submitted my fees & its recieved by NiTie. No updates thereafter.
Is there any acknowledgement or confirmation in print that NiTie will be despatching ? If so, when is that going to happen ?
Also, what is the venue, date & timing details for Impressions' 2008 held @ Bangalore ?

i m working for Cognizant TEchnology Soln, the company doesnot provide character certificate. What should I do???(senior pls help)
