hey i m no senior, but in the previous years nitie has not come up with subsequent waitlists after 2nd one ( they came up with a 3rd one last year but it had only SC/ST people)
also.. the link at the admissions page says... FINAL WAITLIST..
i guess that eliminates any further chance of a subsequent waitlist.

The fees for two years is 2,60,000 which excludes mess charges...
assume 1500 per month for the mess..

So finally the final wait list is announced..!! A few points from my side:
1. All the people from the first wait list (IM) have their admissions confirmed. (Pls note that this is just for information purposes. This message possess no legal validity)
2. All the people in this new wait list are supposed to deposit their fee. The seats will be alloted in the merit order. So, one will come to know about the confirmation only after May 25th.
3. This is the final Wait List. No more calls after this...!!
4. Guys n Gals, donot wait for the Call Letter to reach you. Send your DD asap if your name appears in this list. Donot forget to Write the following at the back of the DD:
i) Your Name
ii) Your NITIE Application Number
iii) Your Direct Contact Number
iv) Your Course (Here its only PGDIM but better write it)
5. Get a xerox of the DD before you send it.
6. Once more the link to the Wait List: http://www.nitie.edu/Final%20Waitlist
7. Attached below is the File in case some one is not able to access it.
Other Queries will be answered in the next 12 hours or so... 😃 Right now I am off to my dinner...

can smbdy tell that how will i get the official confirmation of admission, iam 32 in first waiting list and hae sent the draft.
u can get it confirmed by calling nitie @ 022 - 28573371 (Extn: 370)
but talking to them on phone may not be termed as official confirmation. Second is, on one day it will be officially declared and which one will be that day, kindly help!!!!!!!

It is Rs. 393,000/- . It includes your laptop, your blazers, your books and your trips to other B-Schools for participating in different competition.
Actually we had got a loan amount of Rs. 390,000/- sanctioned from SBI. In your case it's a little more by Rs. 3,000/-
And just don't forget that you have 6 months of internship (2+4). So, at a minimum you should easily be able to recover your 25% - 30% of the cost while in college only...!! And Remaining... in first few month of your job itself..

Can you kindly throw some light on the waitlist movement for other courses (specifically ITM) there is no news reg the same on the website and the people give different answers every time I call the insti, I am waitlisted at 4 and any confirmed news will bring some relief and a smile hopefully.

Since the Final Wait List is only for Gen Cat, this automatically confirms everyone in W/L 1. But, how bout the Non- Gen Category W/L confirmation. Do they wait for an official confirmation from NITIE. Seniors any update on Reserved Cat. wait list movement.

Can someone tell me the procedure for cancelling my admission? was waiting for the offer letter from IIML, which arrived today.
Any idea how much time NITIE will take to refund the money and how will the refund be done?
Apologising in advance if this is not the right thread or the query has been answered before.
Please post the right thread if that is the case.
Seniors please help in this case, as this will also mean one of the waitlisters getting a final offer.

We are here to help you out only. You need to write a letter to the admission's office, duly signed by you. You can fax it to the admissions as well. Make sure it carries all the necessary information.

I called up at NITIE and I got to know that they will be taking 2 people in ITM in OBC category and those will be taken from main list + waiting list itself. But I found him very casual while telling this.
Also they are very busy right now for coming GD\PI, so will get confirmed answer only some where in next week.
Mean while can someone from impact team or anyone clarify the picture.
