just an update,,, there has new OBC list out for interview on 9th to 11th may.
i guess all speculations for the second list on hold till the results for this OBC list...

Can you kindly reply and end the anxiety of the waitlisted folks. Almost 2 days have passed since the time alloted for the waitlist updates, but still we have no news on the waitlist update front. Every time I call the insti a new person picks up the phone and I am told different things every time.
Immediate help from you will help to end all speculations and soothe the nerves of the waitlisted puys.

I have juz confirmed my seat.
You can also do so by calling 022-28573371.
I have also asked about the complete waitlist movement and the answer was wonderful. Everyone in the waitlist who has submitted the DD got confirmed and they are planning for another waitlist in a couple of days.

I guess no sane person would ever leave nitie for mdi 
(see my posts on mdi's thread ). But there are a lot of insane ppl in this world 
plus most of us have got thru one or the other iim. n although personally i feel that nitie is btr than I/K bt i guess most of us are gonna go with the iim brand. so im sure a 2nd waitlist is on its way!! all da best 2 everyone.
btw, my name appeared in the 1st waitlist. had deposited the money but will be withdrawing admission (iim calling!!!! ).

All the 2nd waitlist hopefuls, there is a good news.. . On comparing MDI and NITIE list and the puys who have informed about there dropouts (because of IIMs), there are 46 (mainlist) and 16 waitlist ppl who have converted final calls of IIMs /MDI (PGDIM-General List). This brings the figure to 62 (this is info considering many IIMs converts not been reported on pagalguy). Hence with all probability, we can expect NITIE 2nd waitlist.
P.S: Find the attached spreadsheet with IIM/MDI converts status (list also contains ppl with MDI Waitlist numbers).

Puys have some patience. All the seniors would be having their summers right now. So that means either they are out of college ( in some other city) or they leave for office early which doesn't leaves much time to interact 'in person' with admission office. Only way they can contact them is thru phone only.
Also, do consider tht admission office would be working on it. They also would like to close the whole admission process asap without any further glitches (like the OBC reservation one). I know everyone expecting more lists want the result out next day but there are some formalities associated with the working of official departments.
So just chill !!

Can somebody please comment that if NITIE also has increased seats because of OBC quota like IIMs?
