Hi seniors,
Is there a format to claim refund of the admission amount (1,30,500) that has been paid upfront? Do mail/post the same.

1) Could you also let us know app. how long it would take to refund the fees?

2) Should I come personally to Mumbai to collect the same or will it be posted?

Hello Vikram,

I am not in position to comment on this since I am not aware of the criteria of the Selection for GD-PI for the OBC candidate. One reason can be the exclusion of Creamy Layer as per the Supreme Court guidelines. See if you belong to this category.

There can be numerous other reasons as well as a lot of other factors might have been taken into account within the OBC category as well..

This is all what I feel and represent my personal opinion. This is in noway related to the college.

Guys and Gals... Do not wait for the confirmed call letter to reach you. It might get delayed. If your name appears in the Wait List then do submit your DD. Just write the following at the back of the DD:
1. Your Name
2. Your NITIE Application Number
3. Your Direct Contact Number
4. The Course Name (Whether IM/ISEM or ITM)

Good initiative. It would be better if you can put the same thing in excel and then upload it.

Hey Nagendra,

U can mail a request to [email protected] asking for the refund. Also, fax the same content to admissions office. You can get the fax number from the brochure.

I guess, u need not come to Mumbai for collecting it. It should be mailed/couriered to you. Still would advise better verify it from the admissions on phone.

As per my knowledge it should not take more than 2 weeks to process a refund claim. However, the conditions always apply. But, be rest assured it will be done at a higher priority level.

I was waitlisted in PGDIM. I have converted other calls and have decided not to join NITIE. It felt great being a part of this elite forum. So people on the waitlist below me/ expecting a second list, I wish u all the best.

I have been selected for the PGDCM course at IIM-C, and so will be cancelling my admission at NITIE for the PGDITM-III course. I've send a physical letter to NITIE by courier for the same. Hoping to get an early response from them, as per the previous posts.

Me in W/L. After no other converts :(, posted my DD to NITIE today.
Just hope it reaches NITIE before 5th. Do anybody know whether the Admission
Office remains open on Saturdays? Or Atleast if they accept daks? Will sending the xerox copy of draft via FAX will help, in case there is a delay.
