Can anyone (those who recd. the letters) pl. confirm what all we need to send now alongwith the demand draft. I am yet to recieve the letter, so if u could throw some light on this, I would be better prepared.

I dont have the letter wit me here..its in my home town, but i guess jus the d.d would do...there is a medical examination and stuff tat u will have too do, but all tat needs to be certified and submitted while joining!!!!

My letter from NITIE has reached at my hometown. It's in Haryana (Sonepat) about 70 km north from Delhi.
It reached this Tuesday.
But Don't worry. We don't have to send anything rite now (IMPACT team correct me if I am wrong) except the DD made in favor of "NITIE, Mumbai" payable at mumbai and your CAT TR no and NITIE App no written behind it. So you could go ahead and get your draft done.

r u sure that we just ve to send the draft only.....n nothing else.............i called up the office n they said we ve send the whole documents.....impact team please clarify.....i ve made the draft.......if everything goes clear i ll send the draft quickly

I just talked to Amit Srivastava of IMPACT TEAM.
We need to make a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,30,500 in favor of "NITIE, MUMBAI" payable at Mumbai.
On the Back of Demand Draft We need to write
- NAME
- CAT REGISTRATION NUMBER
- NITIE FORM NUMBER
- CONTACT NUMBER (HOME/ MOBILE)
There is no other document that we need to send with it. In the form that we have received (or will be receiving) there is only a Medical Certificate that we need to get filled and signed by Medical Officer and submit it at the time of admission i.e. 20th June.
We could(not necessary) put one simple blank paper as an Acknowledgement Letter where we could write that we have seen the result on internet and this is our Sr. number , Nite APP. Number etc.
Also we could put our address in there.
I, myself haven't seen my letter yet. I will be going my home this weekend and then will get to see it. 17th is still away, I could ateast wait for the weekend. I will get my draft made and get it couriered (BLUEDART) on monday.
If anyone has his/her letter, please reconfirm the above info.

No, some institutes DO send letters to Waitlisted candidates and expect them to pay a token amount.
So, Can someone confirm if NITIE also does this? Has any waitlisted candidate received the letter?
P.S. I am waitlisted for IM but have not received any letter yet

Seniors, if you could tell me about any CERTIFICATIONS that people do in management. During or After MBA. Are they of any use.
can we get that letter by email.. Seniors please reply..
I am not sure if I'll be receiving the letter even my GD-PI letter came after I had given my GD-PI @ Mumbai.
and what if someone doesn't receives the letter at all.. What to do then?

Finally our exams are over... 
Yeeehaaaaawwwww...!!
So... lots of doubts on call letter...?! Well I suggest some one who has gone through the letter should come out and post the key points here... Mostly it will be asking for sending a DD only (of the requisite amount) at present...
However, I will inquire about it from my end on Monday and keep you all updated..!!
And yeah... the call letters have started reaching their destination... So hold on your breath... ;)

i hv receievd my letter....so for the puys who haven't received the call letters....
it contains:-
1. an official letter intimating the final selection and explaining fee structure of Rs. 1,30,500/-,(it has to be DD amount, a single DD for the complete fees in favour of NITIE, Mumbai)
2. Rules and Regulations governing Admission.
3. Annexure I - its a letter from our side 2 NITIE regarding acceptence of offer and for filling details of DD
4. A Medical Examination Report ( contains everything from weight, teeths to thyroids )
5. An undertaking regarding dat we r governed by rules of NITIE and abide them and decision of the director of NITIE is final....
Rules and Regulations
Program starts on 23rd...reporting 19th june
documents required-
acceptance letter (annexure I)
medical certificate
undertaking
all original certis - DOB proof, acads qualifications, work ex etc
caste/disability certi
clearance/release certi from employer
character certi from organisation last studied or worked
six copies of recent passport size photos..........

Going thro' the Brochure and found one thing which is confusing, it is mentioned in regard of placement 2007 that "Students who applied - 87" : Is the batch size was less or its a typing mistake or some students opted to sit out of the placement or something else??? Please clarify...

1) is it fine if someone else deposits the DD in person at NITIE??
2) If its fine, then where (exact office) should the person deposit the DD..

I just got through NITIE-IM and had some queries regarding the program and the college
1. Firstly I am interested in Operations, more specifically SCM and need to know what all companies come to NITIE for operations and what kind of job profile is offered by these companies.
2. Do companies offer consulting job roles in operations.
3. I have a engineering degree in Industrial production and have a work ex of 17 months in IT sector(Infosys).Can i sit for lateral placements with this amount of work ex and if not would this work ex give me any advantage if i sit for the placements.
4. Is it true that the kind of salary that is offered to students who specialize in operations
is quite less than those who do it in finance.If true what could the average salary be for operations post graduates
