if u wana download it from esnips..u get 5 pdfs..make sure u get book 2 too.. and if u purchase it from shop then u get additional books(2) which are previous practice papers..
its ur take hardcopy./softcopy.. and also one thing rember take that book from esnips.. Invetment and portfolio managemnet..by RC Brown..for concepts..

Me too from delhi, planning to take CFA l1 in Dec2008. Got the material from Bharat Book center. And congrats to u for your IIT-D convert. Count me in too in case yur plannin a study group in and around delhi.

Hi, moi in need of desp advice frm fello puy..me appearing for CAT 2k8. Am confused if CFA n thn a foreign MBA wud be a better option. It'd be cool if sumone cud throw some light into this. I've heard(...true to the word..)tht CFA adds more value to one's profile. Wud it be better to start CFA preps now rather thn post-mba? Also is the CFA level-1 test conducted within our country? P.S. : I m interested in finance n m planning to specialize in fin during my mba.

go to the cfa website and register if you have around 40000 in your bank account.. or else if you are apprehensive in spending this much amount :boat: over something you are still not sure off then go to ber sarai n delhi, utmost close to IIFT delhi where you are selected, and then shell out 1200-1800 for xerox notes of cfa, go through them, gauge if you will go for it and then register before 17th august for dec 2008 exam. :robot:.

As far as books are concerned, I will again state that for passing the exams schweser shall be sufficient, but for deeper understanding the CFA course material is definitely better.
And dude i am currrently working in pune. So your wish whether u wanna call or not. Pm me in case u want my number.
