For you the the details of deadlines are mentioned in the following link
CFA Exam Fee Schedule
unfortunately the 1st dealine is over when the fee was less than a 1000 USD
even i missed that
Ok thanks mate..well i hope our groaning battle is over sorry for groaning ..
If i am right currently there are no centers in India for CFA rite ??
yes due to legal tussle going on between AICTE and AIMR currently CFA is not scheduled in India
However one cans select Kathmandu(where no passport/visa is needed) or Bangkok/Singapore(visa needed)
I recommend you to go through this thread once atleast the 1st 30-40 pages which would clear your general doubts.
For doubts on current situation you can post here and people who know the answer would reply
Cheers
best of luck in case you are enrolling for CFA
ok thanks mate best of luck to you i guess its better i apply after graduation itself so that i dont mix up and study properly for final year
BTW the fees are fluctuating accordingly...
Yes go on with your plans and let not your results of final term be hampered.
BTW you can take cfa if your background and future plans are fall in line with I banking and A league b schools
Actually i am Commerce students so CFA is pretty much related to my studies in some sense for sure..the thing is i am little confused about the 2 CFA's the ICFAI one and the other main one coz i am guessing THE ICFAI one is indianized CFA whereas the other is more american point of view...
So hopefully the dispute between both the parties is over fast and we have atleast one test center in India..

How does one gets CFA books...do I need to buy them seperately / they comes wiht the registration ?
Also can anyone pls share the CFA curriculum - assuming this is not a copyrighted material.
Thanks
Since you have got a lot of time in hand with 6 months to go for the exam you should go for the CFA books. Study notes are available of shweser, stalla and the like but be advised to only use them for quick revision.
cheers

Can someone who's started preparing for L2 tell me the difference between the CFA and schweser material in these four subjects--FSA,ECO,CF AND Quants? Roughly, how many pages does each subject occupy in the CFA curriculum? I'm asking this because I want to have an idea as to what I should be looking at when I register for L2 after getting my L1 result.
A die hard CFA material fan
cheers:
