Chirag, you don't need to buy both of them... You can buy the TI BAII Plus Professional.. It is a slightly more enhanced version of the BAII Plus...
You can order it from Cranes Software (Cranes Software - Contact Us). They are the authorized distributors for TI products in India.
There will be a lot of redundancy in your finance courses which you will do in PGDM. But then PGDM (finance) is not all about finance. First year courses cover all the areas. So you'll learn a lot about the various fields. And the experience of doing an MBA is much better than studying for CFA exams by yourself. They just can't be compared. The experience of working in a team, the various competitions and events that will happen, competing with other students in acads, sports etc... You won't get all this while doing your CFA.
I had the same question some time back but then realized that it makes a lot of sense to do both. Many top companies encourage their employees to take up CFA. So you might well have to do it later. It's better to do it now and then be one of the FIN studs in college 😃

Yes it will give you competitive edge, but that alone would not suffice. You have to live upto the reputation during your interview round

17 Feb '10 is the 2nd deadline when you would be charged 1110 USD
and the 3rd deadline is 17 march '10 when you would be charged 1435 USD
ok i have a doubt. Can FINAL year students pursue CFA ? or its only possible once you are graduated ?
