Kari, Kari, Kari....did you know I've been checking your number before mine everytime I've looked at that page? Imagine you being waitlisted! It's scandalous, but then I'm reasonably certain the waitlist should clear up and you'll get in. I do so hope it works out for you. Keep a cheerful face, what? Think of the endless conversations on mythology, fantasy literature, the role of religion in civilization that you might have at the MICafe with like-minded souls :)
Hey Jormund...what can i say....i did the same for your numbers as well...i say numbers cause i dint know your surname and so i looked at every kunal from mumbai in that list!...as far as that discussion goes...i shall have it...with you... ...i hope there is a second list for you Kunal...after your post am holding my head high...and so should you...sea serpants are tenacious creatures after all.......

I went to MICA office yesterday and knew my result - I AM IN! One of my friends is waitlisted, and MICA ppl say she'll most definitely get through - in fact most waitlisted will - but whether there will be a second list at all remains to be seen...
From what I gathered from the folks, and these are strictly what I understood from their talk and body language (hence could be way off the mark) 1. they have announced only a partial list - so if there are 120 seats, only about 30-40 odd have been selected as of now.. 2. many people have been waitlisted in the first list - a random check by me on the first page of call getters list revealed that three ppl have been waitlisted and i am the one selection - that is 4 of the 13 ppl are more or less through
Now accounting for the fact that a few chaps here or there will ditch MICA for IIM, MDI or whatever insti, that means that the first waitlist will be cleared more or less...but if you see 4 out of 13 ppl on the first page could mean that either too many ppl have been waitlisted or those who had their gdpi at ahmedabad have had larger slices of luck - either way I am through and my yearlong efforts and money havent gone into the drain... 😃 😃 😃

Thanks mate. I can tell you belong in MICA, since anyone who can appreciate my posts does, by implication has an appreciation for the finer things in life 😉 As for something better...well, you never know, hope you're right.
Well hi guys, Took the test in Mumbai, and well even though I thought my GD and PI were quite good....As the tittle says... CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE IT!!! Have been dreaming, eating and breathing about MICA for the recent past at any rate... Kari.. I think you are the one I remember from the Mumbai GD/PI , you wore a pale blue shirt if I am not mistaken..have been following all Mica related threads avidly...and well I too am surprised Kari is waitlisted... The second list or whatever that message is, I think is only a more polite version of the previous result that had said 'you have not been able to make it', how depressing to tell that to aspirants man...
Any ways guess tht means another go next year... All the best to the waitlisted ppl...
I have been an onlooker to PG till now, and this is the first time i am posting stuff.. MICA was a nice insti for me ever since i discovered it, and i always wanted to get thru.. neways to cut the crap, i have been waitlisted, and i hope that i would get thru. It is probable however that i might not be able to join MICA, which depends heavily on how the IIM results turn out.... neways congrats to guys who made it/waitlisted.

Just checked for ur result too...unfortunately you don't make it in the first list and r advised to wait for the second list.

HEY GUYS !! Thanks !! Yes my form # is 18352 -- just called home --- I guess did'nt make it through!!
