My dad called up MICA and he was informed that the seats have increased and the next waitlist will be out in 3 days time. But seriously will it really go to a 2nd waitlist ?

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post on PG. I have two years of work-ex in software.

I have been an avid reader of all the MICA related threads as this was both , my dream insti and my only call. I am a tad dissappointed therefore to know that I am currently waitlisted. My form number is 15750.

I have a request to make of Slash and Dynamica. Even if there is no such thing as a waitlist number (as mentioned by Dynamica), there must be some numbers to be had....namely, the number of candidates who have a final call, the number of candidates who have been waitlisted, how the waitlist movement was last year (did it get cleared completely) etc.

I request both you guys and anyone else who has any relevent info to pitch in and give us some gyan.

hey guys...please help me out....my roll number is 21473 and cat roll is 6410685.I cant access the page as it says page cannot be displayed .can any one tell me the result.This is my first post.Name SATYARTH PRIYEDARSHI.

yippie!!! hope this is not a case of different info to diff ppl.... if MICA increases seats, the waitlist as it is now will clear... and there will be some people in the current list + current waitlist who dont take up seats.. that means chances for ppl who have been advised to look out for the second list.... hope this is true

I hope what you are saying is true dude..i have not been able to check the result because of some problem with the site..it keeps saying that the web page is not available..think i will die of a heart attack before i find out....

not even in the waiting list.. pretty bad performance i put up it seems!!
was never lookin 2 join mica, but nonetheless wanted a conversion under my belt..
but it was not 2 b..
congrats 2 those who made it.. :wow:
and 4 those in the waitin list, best of luck..
hope i manage 2 convert imt, god help me.. 😃
mica gd/pi were far better as compared 2 imt.. so now this rejection has cast serious doubts on my imt selection.. guys pray 4 me please.. thats my first and last hope.. this year atleast..

i have this feling that this thread is going to run realy long.many people...including me joined pg after the cat scores were posted and the mica results scare.

I think the MICA site must be getting so many clicks that it may give rise to second boom in the Dot Com sector.

Anurag don't worry i am praying that u convert the imt call.......I am going to sick whole night ..if it takes that..to find the result......

My dad was informed that the results would be out on 21-22. I didnt post about it earlier coz there was just too many specualtions and i just didnt want to add to the confusion. So i can assure you that the news is true. I just hope it goes to the second list , seeing the response here it doesnt look like anyone is leaving MICA.

Readin the last few posts, I guess theres everything about MICA that makes one wanna believe theres gonna b n+1 lists to accomodate us n people, but alas!

haaaaaaaaaaaaaalp i am about to go insane, past two and a half hours consistently tried to get thru the mica results page to no avail , if someone else can get thru then my cat registration number is 8460907, name swati kumar please look it up!

guys i think we can safely assume tht mica took off the link to update thesecond list u know as they mentioned so keep praying and hoping i guess they will accomodate more students

but i checked yesterday on a link posted by careerlauncher n it said i'd have 2 wait 4 the 2nd list, but i havent been able 2 check this site, guess izz pretty much the same, well thought i'd just console myself.

I think they have taken down the link...After all how much traffic can 1200 people make at 2:15 in the night.The page can't be displayed thing there fore must be something else.So i am off to bed trying to sleep...which i know will elude me ......and wait what tomorrow brings.JUSt one nagging thought at the back of my mind....Do they work in mysterious ways??i mean does it happen that a guy is there in one list and not there in the other?

I don't think the second list is going to come out anytime this soon. They'll have to wait till the people in the first list pay up, then the waitlist sill come in, and then, IF REQUIRED, a second list will be declared.

Till now, we don't even know what's the last date for submission of fees etc....so people like me, who've been told to look out for the second list (whatever that is!!) have no choice but to keep hanging in there!!
