babe(pa-gal)...i am going with a positive mind set...but still its a losers course..if i get in to it...because the truth will still be that i did not get in to the pgpcm.....and lost there....calling my self loser doesn't mean that its a negative mind set....its just a fact and i go by it....

Guys from one year courses have also got in to gr8 jobs. So make it - if you are worth it...

Well, the silence speaks for itself........the end of it all................but something really amazed me this afternoon .......one of my friends was waitlisted.....but received a letter of confirmation on Tuesday........I really am not able to make anything of it........ Very puzzled. They say it is all over and still keep sending call letters in dribs and drabs.
My plans........Gmat......don't wanna waste any more time sitting and brooding over what has happened. So looking forward to pursue a similar course in the US of A ......most of my folks are over there. Not giving CAT once again.

I am a Consultant based in Ahmedabad. Have worked closely with MICA faculty on some assignment, hence the 'Gyan' about MICA.
My plans... continue working. CAT is not MICup (my cup) of Tea!
The Mican....what you just said about your friend getting the confirmation letter...well...that has happened to me as well...am also through to Mica...apparantly an international applicant through the Gmat dropped out so I am in....or thats what i believe happened....
So guys I am going to Mica......and all the rest of the waitlisted people...i was told that the aicte might still increase the seats before the course starts...so there is still hope...
I dunno what to say...am still shocked...and sad for people who have not received the confirmation letters...aftergoing through all of this for an entire year with you guys it feels like an irony...

I know PGPCM is not the end.But it so happens that i am already an MBA and it doesn't help that the jobs i am getting is not worth a ..(uknow what:))...So the options right now are limited.If i have to get where i want,then that means i have to go thru any of the top ten colleges. As far as the negative attitude is concerned...Thats just because...i saw the trailer of what could have been..and then the movie was never released.Not getting any college has actually Knocked the wind out of me.And right now thats how i am handling it.It won't be for long...but i will need a straw to grab if i don't have to drown.
And i am not like as you are thinking.......or why else call my self.....THE RAINMAKER:)
Just Checked my mail and looks like MIca is going to have telephonic Interviews or something for the one year losers' program.They are asking for the telephone number....Any boy heard anyhting like this before??????
Okie...first of all thx a lot to everyone...zero, darkknight, Mr.Kohli,nkksy,bugs,The Mican, Zonked, vipin....I know how some of you are feeling but i still think u should hang in there...
The AICTE may still increase the seats in time for this year....Honestly theres nothing Mica can do but wait till that happens...but they havent lost hope and neither should you...
No The Mican...there is no seperate quota for Gmat students(by this i mean that no 'n' number of seats are reserved)...only that all gmat applicants are petted against each other....so when and if a person selected through Gmat (this includes international applicants) withdraws, they look at people in the Gmat category....
At least thats my analysis of this issue...
And I dont think i need to give Mr. Mustafa an explanation as an answer to his post...it just doesnt deserve that....
