That is correct, do bear in mind though that this kind of thing is more than common in Advertising and I don't think O&M; is the least bit bothered...they have PLENTY of talent across ALL levels...
Agreed....totally. My dad has been in advtg for the last 30 yrs... so i do know how the advtg industry works.....that was just an FYI...... didnt mean anything else...

Gyan no. 2 (General) Is MICA really the only option? Now or next year? For most insti of some repute, one requires CAT or similar exam....

This is with ref to Sonu's post. Spot-on Sonu. This is what marketing guru's refer to as POSITIONING. Pa-gal has made Ries & Trout proud by following their mantras .....don't know if she's aware of that. She has positioned herself as the gyan girl by coining a line ......Want some gyan?
It is a classic case of human positioning. At the outset, she nettled a couple of people with that holier than thou line but as time passed by she has proven herself worthy of the line. You need to create a buzz in the marketplace (read thread) to make people sit up and take notice. At first they might shrug you off but sequelly they are wheedled to experience it. This is what a stupendous positioning can do to you/your producdt.
Just try this out......and very candidly .....the moment you think of gyan (Related to this thread), what or who is on top of your mind? .....on my mind it's undoubtedly Pa-gal........no, I am not being candy sweet. This is my personal observation as I have always been and will continue to be fascinated by human positioning/branding.
There are so many residents in my mind. And believe you me, it's chock-a-block. It is the same with most of you. In such a scenario, one needs to look at radically different ways to position oneself. A single word like GYAN just did the trick for Pa-gal. Don't know if she's done it consciously or not.
