Guys i have been readin the threads for a while now...and this thread has the making of a block buster.I mean just look at it....there's exitement...then suspense...then lots of crying...and some nice poems thrown in....wow...who needs movies...
Also has a good ending i hope.......from the time i heard every one's results changing on a de by de basis...i have started checking my own too.But It never changes.:huh:

Appy i wish it were that simple.Now days there is so much crap being written,that even the good work is being thrown away.So MICA can be a really good start(i mean big brand name).
I mean what Jormund writes here is just a post on the wall.But if he writes the same things after getting a paper from mica(on which is his degree)..he will be considered GOD.That's how the world works.

So man now to make a mark on this world's hard surface,you need to be really hard and smart.But then again my pessimism says that making a mark is something arbitrary.How does it matter.Gandhi is known and will be known for may be 600 years and then forgotten.Jesus is still known after 2000 yrs.(and that also after the best possible bestseller and continuing ad campaign).Bill gates will be remembered for even less time.It so happens that the closer you are to philosophy or religion or politics the longer you are remembered.But eventually in the human known and unknown history of 10,000 years it doesn't matter.That kind of disheartens me.
So appy,may be what matters is not that if you want to be an author,but do you want it that bad.

Its not wholly relevant to your point but here's some feedback..I think the common thread in being able to achieve the distinction of being remembered is to be able to pervade all the barricades of biases/lack of faith set up by people around them and impacting their core..Ample opportunities for genuine efforts in this regard are available in the streams you mentioned.
The letters hav begun pouring in then. Just got mine a while bac. Me waitlisted, and a DD of 87k to be paid by 20th April, fully refundable if final offer not made.
It says "candidates number will start moving up the waitist list"... has anyone got waitlisted numbers??
hey guys...just received my offer letter...its dated 24th March...1st term fees of 87,000 to be paid by 20th april...total fees for the 1st year 2,51,000...fees for second year MAY increase by 10-15%...but what i cannot fathom is that for the laptop we need to pay 12,000 bucks per semester (other that the course fees)...considering that there are 6 semesters...the laptop would cost 72,000...i think we can definitely get a cheaper one from somewhere else...can't we?...also if u wanna withdraw u'r fees...if u do it before 30th april u will get a refund of 50%...before 26th june u get a refund of 25%...after that...bye bye to the fees...so that much for the letter...just for the info...it came by courier...thx

hi... there are three semesters/ terms, not 6 according to the letter. So thatd make the cost 36 k for the laptop.

Someone from mica checked my name in the waitlisted candidates at mica...they are saying i have a 75% chance of getting in...the question is "is it good enough???"
hey karishma... i guess whether u get in or not would depend on u'r waitlist number....i'm sure there has to be a no. since someone says there r 109 people waitlisted!...so obviously...if u'r in the top 50...u would have a fair chance...anything under that...it would be a problem unless they increase the seats to 150 or something...atb

is there anybody here who feels that mica fees is exhorbitantly high?.......hey seniors , cud u plz tell us wot exactly do they impart us in close to 6 lacs they absorb frm us?........plz tell us what other activities apart frm pure classes do the conduct....as in field studies etc.....i guess mica has 1 of the highest fee structures.....pitch in with ur comments ppl
