I was on your batch as well but I am waitlisted. I was the girl in a blue suit, sitting right in the middle of the group.
Am pretty amazed at whatever has been happening with people coming off and on the waitlist. As for me, I have been constantly waitlisted. I wonder whats going on and hope that whatever the result is now on the site, it is final.
Anyway, I wish the wait ends soon and positively. I have a request to make. If anyone has recieved their letter, can you please post the gist (when the waitlisted candidates have to pay up and how etc). I am not at home (where my letter would arrive) so I would like to know.

A bald guy with french beard sat on the other side of yours and you and him had pretty similar view points. Moreover you asked me to just call you up when i m done with my PI 😃

Me waitlisted too. Pray it works out for all.
Not a bad ratio.... 3 out of what, 8 ppl in our GD are at least close to in.

have already paid up at imi...am in quite a fix now as regards the withdrawal of fees from imi...last date is 31st march!
anyway nothing i can do..will have to wait till the mica waitlist gets finalised and lose 85k to imi...ugh

Guys i have been readin the threads for a while now...and this thread has the making of a block buster.I mean just look at it....there's exitement...then suspense...then lots of crying...and some nice poems thrown in....wow...who needs movies...

hey shru i had my gd on 25th at k-13 with tht halleyberry lookalike monitoring the gd ...v had tht gd on "development issues" which turned out 2 b a nitemare for all of us!!! i am the big guy (number 5 or 6).i had a really gud interview and now w/listed....wattabout u....r u confirmed??????????

I had a 6 hr flight last night, with internet connectivity and a laptop.....so guess what I did.....?
You can not imagine (and if you can then you know the height of desperation).....Well I took that list Karishma had put on the thread (Final Candidates) and put in each and every form number on it on the Mica site....lo, I know exactly how many ppl are through and how many are waitlisted.......98 selections and 109 waitlisted (+-3 is the margin of error I would like to claim)
So while one question got answered -MICA definitely has upped the seat count this year.....another -Will the poor waitlisted blokes (and female blokes....whatever they are called) like me make it ?.....that we'll still have to wait and watch out for..
Thats that then......my hopes are a little bit dashed, my stoop a little more pronounced.....but I am still marching on into the horizon hoping for the sunrise.......

Guess all that math ( anything to do with numbers is either math or greek or latin....basically unfathomable to me) left me a little clearer in the head than before....this is what I figure, its gonna be like.....
First step - pay fee to MICA.....if more than 120 ppl do that, the ones beyond 120 (or if there is another number that) will get a refund. If less than 120 pay (as long as it is beyond a reasonable limit of say 90) they still don't take out another list.
If thats how its going to work, then there are these ideas to chew on....
- They probable expect this waiting list to move all the way in based on prior experience
- They always had a sectional cut off except this time so ....there are lots of people in the list this time that have no calls from higher-ranked institutes. So less ppl may give this up compared to previous years...(they may or may not have figured this in)....

Nice feat done in the interest of the community. Well, u sure deserve a bow from all of us for that. I tried doing what you have done ....but was interrupted many a time. So gave it up. If there is a second word for patience that would be Disha.
I am also one of those starry-eyed junta of the boat on which 109 cands are crammed up on a pryaer and doing a balancing act lest the boat capsizes.

Disha your effort is commendable..even i started doing the same yesterday morning but was exhausted after 40 checks...not to mention the connectivity too was a bit slow..
But yep the numbers do indicate a increase in number os seats...but 109 W/L thats a huge list and moreover they haven't given any W/L numbers...have they?? So on what basis wud they clear the waitlist?? ..FIFO? Also you theory of many people with no other calls is not digestable because out of so many i came to know a few there at GD/PI and all of them had another calls....
So give your head a bit of rest...and just wait as things unfold slowly but for good. 😃

Cheer up buddy!!...Final year engineering is when peepah start taking a shot at CAT!! U haff all the time in the world! Me an Engineer too, and I decided about writing CAT 5 months(specifically for MICA) after i finished my engg..., So i qwut my Engineers job and worked at an MR firm, to get the work ex et al!.. and after this entire CAT excercise and all the la di da da, me here I am waitlisted for MICA!...And If they don't take moi, I be bak next year!!Its really not too late for thee, wish i too had written CAT in my final year for the experience!, U have bext year and if u really want MICA that bad, I am sure will see ya next year(I am an optimist)!

rather go to xaviers or simc na
that will hone your skills much better than mica
i mean u r so creative ...why get hassled by all the managemnet stuff
rather use ur strengths for creative purposes
