I was asked by a faculty as to how I percieve IIFM as. "Snake" was the reply.
3 days back we all saw a huge python climbing a tree near the hostel. Today saw a gecko in my balcony. Some time back, I saw a toad as big as a kitten! A morning walk would guarantee atleast 5-6 different kind of birds. Planning to hit the lake in the campus forest to do some birding and photography. It's that time of the year when migratory birds visit wetlands.

Hi Aashish,

Please donot see is just a FOREST management, it is a holistic MBA and Forestry is just an add on. Coming to your basic ques.there are many bright openings in the core sectors like Forest Certification, CDM Registartion and consultancy, Environment Management Consulant, Afforestation/Reforestation project manager, Agro-forestry, Green-belt consultant, Env. Impact Assessment Field and many many...
This is a sector which is going through a transformation. Earlier it was a charity driven sector, now it is becomimg a compulsion and regulator norms driven sector. This is an omen...
