There's something distinct and interesting about a live performance. There's this weird immediacy that's, for me, really invigorating, and it just feels really rewarding. - K. Flay With the captivating theme of #Rewind, GIM celebrated an amazing evening dedicated to dance, music, theatre and much more during Open Mic 2.0 organized by Inception 2018. #LifeAtGIM #EventsAtGIM

This Children's Day, Samarthan decided to put a smile on children's faces by collecting wishes and giving students of GIM the opportunity to fulfil them. They beautifully decorated a tree amidst our cafeteria and filled it with wishes. The response was incredible. Like Charles Swindoll once said, "each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children" and GIMites helped add to these memories and make a few wishes come true over the past few days. #LifeAtGIM #EventsAtGIM

As we all know there are just a couple more days left for CAT and with stress being at its peak, you want to be completely prepared for the D-DAY. By now, you should know your strengths and weaknesses as that’s exactly what will help you get through the examination. Focus on your strengths and allocate time accordingly. Choose your questions wisely keeping in mind the evaluation pattern as it involves negative marking and the time limit, you are given just an hour for each section. Allocating and managing time on the questions you are confident about, would help you score relatively higher. Prepare a strategy for the exam, ideally the basic need for strategy stems from the single most important requirement of ensuring that you solve every simple/easy question that you know and not miss the sitters in the exam. If one just solves all the easy ones in the CAT exam (there are enough of them always), one can easily score 90 percentile! Apart from this, enter the examination hall with calm & relaxed mind and read the instructions carefully. Make use of the on screen calculator wisely and last but not the least, do not think about your errors or failures of the previous section when you move to the next one. Hope this article helps you guys. Goodluck! Regards, GIM AdCom.

'Goonj' - the name itself encapsulates that beautifully orchestrated evening of choral music.  The Church of St. Francis of Assisi was packed with people, yet, one could hear a pin drop as the audience silently listened to the melodious voices of the Somerville Choir of the Oxford University, the Goa University Choir and GIMs very own Choir. From a distance, all one could hear was an echo of their voices.

AR Rahman was once quoted as saying, "music is all about transporting people; speaking a language which languages fail to express" and the fusion of, not just the music, but also the students of these three universities made the evening one to remember.  #LifeAtGIM #EventsAtGIM
