Keeping this in mind, it was time for some fun after the strenuous ordeal of exams, assignments and projects that took a toll on mental health.
Razzmatazz in collaboration with Zenith and Cult on the World Mental Health Day organised Fit'N'Lit 2.0 for the students with Mr. Surender Singh in order to maintain a balance between mental and physical health. The session successfully energized the students with Zumba physically and relaxed their minds with some yoga.

The Lal Bahadur Shastri Award for Excellence is traditionally conferred every year at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. This year due to the pandemic, the event got postponed to 21st November onto a virtual platform. Chairwoman of the Infosys Foundation, Smt Sudha Murthy was honoured with the award virtually by the chief guest, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu, the honourable Vice president of India. The event was also attended virtually by Dr D.K. Srivastava, Director, LBSIM. Shri Anil K Shastri, Chairman, BOG, LBSIM, Smt Manju Shastri, Dr GL Sharma and Mr Ajay Sood, CAO, LBSIM were among the ones physically present at the institute.
The ceremony commenced with the lamp- lighting and floral tribute to Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, after which Shri Anil Shastri welcomed everyone with a warm speech. He congratulated Smt Sudha Murthy and praised her for the social initiatives she has carried out. Ms Geetanjali Sahi then shed some light on the life story of Smt. Sudha Murthy, her achievements and the insurmountable charity work she has been involved in.
Post this, the Honourable Vice President of India conferred the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri Award For Excellence to Smt Sudha Murthy in the field of philanthropy and social work. Shri M Venkaiah Naidu also shared his thoughts, congratulated Smt. Sudha Murthy and remembered Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji. Smt Sudha Murthy then expressed her gratitude, her admiration for Shastriji and her determination to relentlessly work for the betterment of the society. The event concluded with Dr D.K. Srivastava's speech where he thanked all and congratulated the awardee, followed by a Vote of Thanks by Ms Geetanjali Sahi.

Even the pandemic could not stop the students at LBSIM from celebrating the Cult Week.
The events were conducted online, however the fun was far more than offline ones.
The festivities commemorated with Ganesh Vandana by our amazing Cult members which was followed by the most awaited Ethnic Day. The day turned out to be a huge success in terms of fun, enjoyment and participation. The competition included 3 rounds judging each section’s enthusiasm where Section D emerged as victor.
No stone was left unturned in providing the festive vibe. This was made sure by Nishchit, our in house DJ.

"The global lockdown started a month before I was slated to begin my internship with Deloitte, leading to a frenzy of confusion & uncertainty. Yet, with the massive support of the Deloitte team, I began my virtual internship in the Risk Analytics Division. I was assigned a functional project on Natural Language Generation, which is a subset of Artificial Intelligence. To put it in the simplest terms, NLG transforms data into plain, readable English content. A real-life example would be Automated Journalism; how NLG allows a machine to read a massive amount of data & display a readable one-page output. The biggest takeaway for me will definitely be that in today’s day & age, no matter what your background is or what your specializations are, you need to be technologically equipped & digitally aware. Today, the world is online. You need to be there too. Be open to learning, be flexible, be agile & be curious, these skill sets have helped me in every imaginable way possible."
