Post Graduation is one of the most crucial steps in finding one’s career path, and pursuing PGDM from LBSIM has helped me get through this. My life at LBSIM was special, unique, and full of opportunities. I enjoyed both the academic and non-academic life at the campus- the rigorous assignments, class discussions, competitions, gossiping with friends and lazy time dreaming about the future. My experience throughout these two years was simply outstanding as I got to develop not only my managerial skills but my business intelligence as well.
The lessons learned from esteemed faculty members and the efforts of the placement cell helped me get into a company of my choice. I am thankful to them for their constant support and guidance.

PGDM is not just a course but an experience that is to be lived first hand, & LBSIM is just the right platform, coupled with an exhaustive curriculum & supportive faculty.
My passion towards analytics along with my chosen family of friends who always believed in me made Deloitte possible for me. As this part of my life comes to an end, I am beyond thrilled & excited to get back to corporate life.

“There are two aspects of development that encapsulate my learnings at LBSIM. The first one is Individual Learning- learning fueled by interactive industry leadership talks, a vast sea of curricular projects, thought provoking case studies and the constant support of the faculty members.
The second aspect of development is Personal Growth. Often overlooked, personal growth is imperative to becoming an emotionally intelligent manager. Thankfully, LBSIM helped me realize this potential via engaging industry initiatives, a robust outreach program and a plethora of activities; truly proving that LBSIM is indeed a student driven institute that creates budding managers for tomorrow.
I am leaving LBSIM with a degree and embarking on a career I wanted, but to be honest, I am also leaving with a lot of learnings and lessons that I will always remember.”

I was skeptical about the concept of a virtual internship but my two months journey with Asian Paints paid off in ways I never expected.

Since the onset of internship, the talent acquisition team smoothly ushered into the virtual set-up. The interactive sessions organized with different experts provided us a holistic view of the organisation’s work culture.
Besides guidance by crucial stakeholders, self- learning and self-development were always encouraged. This honed my understanding of the problem statement and also to come up with innovative ideas and valuable insights from the data at hand.

To sum up, it was a near dream first corporate experience for a fresher such as myself!

My PGDM journey at LBSIM was full of fun and learnings. From doing things right to doing the right things, I learned quite a lot in LBSIM. To value things beyond resumes and to understand people from a perspective beyond their career advancing abilities.

I feel delighted to share that I have completed my internship with Marsh India. It was a great experience as I got to intern with the world’s leader in insurance broking and risk management. I got an opportunity to work with the Placements team wherein I got to learn about the process of placing policies at Marsh and the various stakeholders involved. I got to work on multiple projects which were both challenging and insightful. During my internship with Marsh, I learned about the Marsh work culture, the importance of Time Management, Data visualization, and analysis, the importance of clearly defined process flows in any project, and team dynamics. I’m grateful to LBSIM and Marsh India for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.

Opting for a PGDM degree can be daunting for any fresher, LBSIM has given me the confidence to stand head-to-head with experienced professionals. Needless to say, in any PGDM course the real learning comes from peer-to-peer interactions and more than honing your hard skills it’s important to nurture your soft skills. I walked into LBSIM as a not so confident individual, and now I can proudly say that I’m walking out as a self-reliant one, with a jar full of friends and memories that I shall cherish forever.

Intern’s Diary

My summer internship experience with Britannia Industries was an exceptional learning journey that continuously pushed me to get out of my comfort zone. An enriching induction week and several fun sessions familiarised us with all the departments, helping us understand the different aspects of an FMCG firm.

My role in the Modern Trade department exposed me to the strategies and operations that go on behind placing products on the shelves in any retail outlet. I was also fortunate to be part of a team where everyone was supportive and helped me whenever I needed it.

Britannia’s culture of empowerment and empathy struck a chord with me, leaving me with lessons that I can implement going forward.

Intern’s Diary

I was blessed to have earned the opportunity to intern with one of the world’s leaders in technical consultancy. I was curious and kept on asking myself many questions as to how things will be, what projects I’ll be allotted, what location would I be given, what team I would be part of, etc.

But soon all my doubts got clear as my journey with Capgemini progressed. The smooth onboarding process and well structured plan of action, helped me perform my task efficiently.

My 2-month internship journey with Capgemini taught me that resilience, diligence, agility and adaptability are keys to seize every opportunity you set your eyes on.

I would like to thank Capgemini and LBSIM to provide me with much-needed opportunity that helped me identify my potential and urged me to outperform myself every other day.

The pedagogy at LBSIM is a nice blend of lectures, seminars, case discussions, group presentations, and a great outreach program. It has also taught me how difference in opinions within team members leads to major brainstorming, which in return stimulates creative thinking. The memories created here will be cherished for a lifetime.

My internship experience at Truecaller was astounding.
It was an exciting opportunity for me, as the scope at which they operate and the popularity of their consumer-facing product is huge.

I was responsible for dealing with stakeholders on daily basis, client on-boarding, creating processes and overseeing their implementation by the operations team in order to increase overall organisational efficiency, and delegating everyday tasks and seeing them through to achieve long term goals.
I also attained large scale project experience by working with big-ticket.

My expectations from the internship were definitely met and exceeded, as I got the opportunity to work in my domain and beyond my comfort zone. This helped me in attaining new skills that will help be beneficial in the long run.
