LBSIM, New Delhi brings you another exciting story of its student Aayushi Sharma who has interned with Marico Limited.

“Be more. Every day.”
During my Internship period, this was not just a quote but a reality for me.
As with each passing day, I somewhere knew I was becoming a better version of myself be it at communications or multitasking. The project that I was assigned was quite interesting and it helped me understand every aspect of sales and distribution of the FMCG sector. The three major learnings that will stay with me forever are the importance of networking, the power of persuasion, and taking authority fearlessly. Interning with Marico has transformed me from a fresher who was just passionate about sales to someone who now is quite confident about it. I became more competent and wiser in these two months and will always cherish this Internship journey.

Hi Duke
The placements are generally organized at the institute during placement week. Some companies offer
Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) as well. Once companies are invited to the institute they shortlist and
evaluate the students. The institute follows a policy of “one candidate – one offer”.

Intern’s Diary

LBSIM, New Delhi brings another exciting story from its student Vanshika Madan who has interned with Deloitte.

Working for Deloitte was a dream come true. I was fortunate enough to get selected as a risk analyst intern there. Not only did I get to work in my area of interest but, also got a chance to do it with a brand of innovativeness, leading-edge, and highly esteemed along with fellow professionals.

My experience at Deloitte was something more than just a mere internship experience. It felt almost like being in the shoes of the employees and got to learn a lot there. Various functional, as well as technical projects, were assigned to me based on climate change, machine learning, and cloud services. Got a wonderful team that was well organized, professional, and was amazingly welcoming.

It was a wonderful virtual experience assisted by smooth onboarding, some key insightful sessions, much-required mentorship, a lot of opportunities, and empathetic leadership.

The key areas focused on personal as well as professional growth and my favourite part was getting myself engaged with the team.

Deloitte gave me a platform to expand my professional network. My colleagues encouraged me to stay proactive in the virtual world and gave me insights into the importance of networking and reaching out to people.

One thing that I would like to take away at the end with this remarkable experience would be that “Networking is the number one unwritten rule of success in business”

LBSIM, New Delhi brings exciting placement insights from its student Anmol Kapoor who got placed at LT foods.

LBSIM Delhi, has made my decision of pursuing PGDM in the domain of sales and marketing look like the wisest and sensible decision of my professional career. After doing a sales stint for close to 2 years this PG program has been a structured course of learning which has helped me carve out a niche for myself through self-realization of my strengths via adequate industry exposure and classroom studies with the best brains in the country. Both of my dreams of interning and working in the FMCG sector have come true in the form of my internship at Britannia and placement at LT Foods.
I thank our esteemed faculties along with my distinguished colleagues who have helped transformed me into a multi-faceted individual with a clearer vision and a goal-oriented approach to take the industry by storm.

If due to COVID, we won’t be able to physically attend the classes. Then will our hostel fee be adjusted in the further instalments?
