Anyone from Bangalore who received an interview call and had submitted the application at least a week before the deadline?
Applied at 23:30 on deadline day. Got an interview call for 21 Nov at Delhi.
But I had given mym location preference as Mumbai.
I have been browsing extensively on the forum. I realized that most applicants have 3.5-5 year work-ex. This is also reflected in the batch profile (700+ students with less than 7yr workex)
@Llewellyn75 - Sir, Only 10% of batch has 7+ work-ex. Is it because of application pool or is it because of ISB's preference to keep out 7+ work-ex folks
I am talking about those 7+ yr work-ex folks who have a clear idea about what they want to achieve out of their MBA

Can anymore calls be expected for candidates from Delhi? Is there any information given to candidates who aren't called for interviews??

Can we expect any interview calls today as its a Saturday and ISB does not work on Saturdays as I've heard.
Are there others too who have their interviews on or a day before CAT/ IIFT dates? (27th and 22nd Nov)?
I have not received the email yet although the application portal tells me that I have been shortlisted. It tells me that I have to click a link in the email to accept the interview. Can someone please give me the contact number of ISB Adcom so that I can contact them to resolve this. Thanks.

Let us try to get an idea of the Work Ex distribution for all the candidates with a call. It'll give everyone a very good idea of the mix.

Any resources on interview tips?
Interview debrief - 14 Nov , 10 am , Panel 5 (3 alums - one lady and two gentlemen)
The interview lasted around 45 minutes. No grilling as such, but a lot of work related questions came up. Industry related and company related questions were asked as well. No "why MBA" or "why ISB" questions. One marketing case study and in depth questioning on my essay#2 (risky decision) happened too. In the end, I was asked about my hobbies, and about my favorite authors( Since I had replied that reading is my hobby).
Overall, I could gather that my work experience and industry knowledge were being tested. The panelists remained mostly expressionless, but nodded, smiled and prodded at instances.
I'm still perplexed about the way I feel about the whole experience (since no expected questions came!).
I must thank @Llewellyn75 for helping me with the thorough preparation. Let's hope for the best now! :)
