Hello All, Have calls for "THOSE WHO CHOSE HYD AS INTERVIEW LOCATION" been rolled out in full swing? Any info would be very very helpful. My application status changed to completed on Nov 08.
Any regular calls for bangalore location?
My application status is still "Submitted Online" . Does this mean they havn't seen it yet ? I am really nervous . My interview location was "Delhi"
Interview Done 13th Nov. Mumbai
Had quite an interesting day yesterday, I am sure my fellow mumbai interviewees will agree.. not only because of refreshing interview expericne but because there a was very friendly clown (yes .. an actual Clown .. red nose and all) who was intertaining us and trying to reduce our stress .. ofcourse it was not arranged by ISB but still was very interesting guy.
Coming to interview, it was like a breeze of fresh air, the panel consisted of two Alums, both of them were quite interested in knowing why I wante dto join ISB after 13 years of industry experirence. Also asked me if I can cope with pressure, and said things like no one is going to teach you anything and you have learn. my responces seem to convince them. Also asked about how I will describe my self in 3 words. and then went on to disect each of the words. All the time being very relaxed and keeping it cinversational and not interogative.
All in all I have a good feeling .. keeping my fingers crossed :)

I completed my interview on 13th Nov in Mumbai. The interview was really pleasent and as per my opinion it went well. The panelists where very friendly and maintained a calm and relaxed atmosphere for me.
When can we expect the results for the mumbai interview?
Debrief of my interview as on 13th November, Mumbai.(ITC Grand Central)
Environment:-Very comfortable and pleasant. Had some fun. Since I and the admission member were talking on other areas other than my resume.
I never felt that they were interviewing me!
Questions worth noting:-
Alum:- Whats your background?
Follow up questions on my work ex!-Why ? How am I doing that?
Why am I doing that?
Who are your competitors? Future plans?
Any back up plans? Why an MBA at ISB?Anywhere else you applied?
(Pls be prepared wrt your work-ex)

Admission Officer:-(I loved this guy)-One of those grandfathers who listens to you calmly and nods his head on whatever you are saying!

-I gave a detailed analysis and recommendations!
He also asked me why I dint have any extra-curriculars. Gave him an honest answer and he appreciated my honesty.

Does the application status change after complete if you get short listed for an interview or do you get an email/phone call? Thanks a bunch
Any idea on the conversion rate post the interviews...? And how much of a weightage does the interview hold?
Had my interview yesterday which last for around 20-25 mins, wouldn't be surprised if the result goes either way. 2 alums in the panel, started with tell me about yourself? then what do I do? What if my target industry (Cummins) comes for hiring, post ISB, and asks me to mention 3 qualities why me? As I mentioned, one of the alum interupted and said you already have all the necessary qualities so Why do you need an MBA from ISB? Asked about my social work I did and the panel didn't look convinced. And another question about one of the initiative I took, a case study, which I failed to answer, and shot another case study, which I guess, I gave a convincing answer. Then it was time for QnAs. One word SANITY: My hands were shaking, all I could do is scribble. Would be glad to help. Edit1: one of the panelist offered me water to drink in between, I declined his offer by saying I'm OK. I don't know what was derived from this event.

Till when can one realistically expect an interview call from Delhi?
Anyone with around 2 or 2.5 years of experience got an admit/interview call? With the introduction of YLP and EEO, will the chances of someone with a low work ex getting an admit in the normal ctaegory PGP decrease since a lot of the less experience quota would be filled by YLP and EEO?
