ISB 2017 Aspirants

Hi guys..

Getting anxious day by day after the interview until the D-day. I am worried about my gmat.. ย I have oil and gas background (5.5 yrs exp). My gmat is 700. Although my interview has gone fine.. but I am worried that my average gmat will be a doom for me.. guys have similar backgrounds pls share your thought

5th march results means 5th March 12 am, or somewhere on 5th march day?

There are only two things to worry about, either you will get an admit from ISB or you will not.

If you get an admit, then there is nothing to worry about.

But if you are do not get an admit, then there are only two things to worry about,

Either you will get an admit from some other prestigious college or you will not.

If you get admit from another prestigious college, then there is nothing to worry about.

But if you don't, then there are only two things to worry about

Either you get an admit next year from ISB or from some other college

If you get an admit from ISB next year, then there is nothing to worry about

And if you get an admit from some other college, you'll be so darn busy studying that you won't have time to worry.

Hi guys. I am a R 1 admit. I can understand the butterflies in your stomach as I have been there very recently. Here are some pointers for you: 1. Our result was supposed to come out on 15th dec. It did come on 15th but by almost end of day. 2. Not all results will come in 1 shot. The process goes for at least an hour or more. So if your friend got "offered" but you're login page is still the same, dont loose hope. 3. Only "offered" results will be updated first. "Rejected" or "waitlisted" results are updated in the end. 4. Campus will not be allotted with the result. You will receive a mail from ISB a day after results mentioning your campus and other things. 5. As R2 candidates you will have a lot of things to finish very fast after you have been admitted. Dont worry, we R1 candidates have already finalized many things after relentless discussions on whatsapp and telegram and facebook groups. You can use that informatioml. In the end, all the very best to all of you. Hope to see you in ISB.

Are majority people here who have got interview calls / admits gone through professional help for essay writing / other advice?

Guys, just estimating the acceptance ratio of the shortlisted candidates:

Total panels: 10

Interviews per panel per day: 9 (maximum)

Total days: 8 (hyd) + 2*5 (for 5 other cities) = 18

Total interviews: 18*10*9 = 1620

Admits in R2: 410

Acceptance: 410:1620 = 1:4 ๐Ÿ˜ž

Anyone going to Mohali tomorrow from Delhi? I have interview first thing in the morning on Sunday.

6!

Is there any change in the no of hours in a day.... From quite some time this wait is making days longer for me ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

Are interview invites still rolling?

M interview got over 15min back and now the wait is killing me

Finally interview done , hyderabad , 11:30 scheduled began around 11: 40 .ย

I work in a startup so first 30 mins was details of startup and investor pitch and multiple queries on the productย

After that Job shifts , just took reasons did not dwell much on why,

Had stated on entrepreneur as post ISB goal so questions on a clear Plan a , My Plan b was clear but plan they felt was not very clear however i hope i have convinced them other wiseย

The question I asked was about the entrepreneurial conclave , and the panel actually spent a good 3 to 4 mins to explain me the details despite himself not being a participant ( They gave a lot of details )

The obvious feeling is i could have done better but now i dont wanna think anymore.

Just wait ,

Best of luck everyone ย

ISB allots more weightage to experience or GMAT/Acads??? Any idea puys....

please confirm one thing that both whoever has not got a call and whoever will not be in merit list will be considered Re applicants next time??

Best of luck to everyone who has the interview tomorrow. Quick 3 takeaways from my interview today at Mumbai:

1)Pls carry some water/chocs/dry fruits ....my panel was running two hours late and I developed a headache by the time my interview began

2)Most panels have a sector expert...m from the non profit and the alum in my panel knew A LOT about my sector as a whole

3) Pls be absolutely thorough with what YOU exactly do at your organisation i.e, your role

4) Half my interview revolved around my essay 1 so do read ur essays thoroughly again

5)Most importantly - Dont stress - you are almost there ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Welcome to the week which decides all of our fate about ISB. All the best everyone. 5.
