It is an advertisement ...:P
Hello puys iam in my 2nd year b.tech haven't really joined for serious cat preparation as of now . I just want to know about mba , other options , post mba .

not to forget for the logical thread 😃
Hello, the peoples. I'm Abhishek. No work ex, horrible acads, no idea what to do with my life, so I decided to try my hand at an MBA 😁
I'm an avid reader and American sitcom-watcher, so my VA is quite good. I also generally do well in LRDI. I haven't finished my Quant syllabus yet, so I still have some catching up to do in that area. My percentile in the CL proc mocks usually hovers around 95. Sometimes it jumps to 98, sometimes it drops to 90. I'm hoping that if I can catch up in Quant, I'll join the 99+ group. Just have to... get off my ass and push myself a little :P
Hopefully, joining these boards and interacting with others chasing the same goal will give me that push :)
@ShuvamJoy See VA can't be improved over night. This is a constant process. You might think that I am repeating the same what you have been listening till date but this is the truth. VA depends a lot on your vocabulary. I would suggest reading good stuff from some standard newspapers. The best would be the editorial section of The Hindu. You would find many difficult words. Mark them & look for their meanings & alternate uses. Trust me this helps a lot. Maintain a separate record of these words.

@Abhishek0211 See don't take it in a wrong sense. Advising you as a younger brother. What I am getting from your post is you are getting a bit over confident. CAT is very unpredictable. I am not demoralizing you. It is infact excellent that you have identified your strengths because most of the students never identify them. Stay focused & don't narrow down your options. Keep a wide range open. List down your priorities to succeed. You must be aware of the admission criteria of all the B-Schools so plan accordingly. Its true that there is no alternative to Hard Work but Smart Work is equally important. All the Very Best for your future.

@rosh67 ďťżTo maximize your score you must first know your strong & weak areas as per the CAT format. As not much time is left I would suggest go for Smart Work. List down your preferences of B-schools & be updated about them. Instead of following any threads just believe in your own abilities & give your best shot. Don't let your focus shift. All The Best.

@Amuk1233 With a clearly defined goal of going for MBA in HR you your self must have done some research about that. The best HR B-Schools are TISS & SCMHRD. I would suggest have a conversation with the students from here & get a deep insight from them & get your queries resolved.
