A quick introduction.

An engineering graduate and currently working with an MNC in Bangalore.
As days pass by, the life in IT sector gets boring. With each block of code I write, I feel I have wasted time that could have been used in a much more constructive manner - preparation for CAT.

I am not sure if it's the right time to begin, but, I am ready to start now. I just hope I can do something in the coming months.

Any guidance, tips, help will surely be appreciated and 'rewarded'. :):)

I am Charneet and pursuing my BTech in Comp Sci at IIIT-H. I am in 3rd yr currently.
Aim is to get into IIM-A/B/C. If not, go fr d awesome placements at the cllg.
I am on PG bcoz it is an awesome place 2 interact wid cool n smart ppl wid similar aims.
I am starting my CAT Prep. Lets see how it goes. But 1 thing is fr sure I will do evry damn thing possible.

It's been around 7-8 months since I joined Pagalguy. Despite being a regular contributor in a couple of threads, I haven't socialized, and do not know much of puys (except a handful). I haven't introduced myself either So here goes:

I'm Venkataraman from Chennai, passed out as an electrical engineer in 2010. Been working with TCS since November 2010. Will be joining SIBM Pune in the 2012-2014 batch.

PG has helped me immensely in my B-school exam admissions, and further GD/PI stages. Contrary to perception that it's only studies here, if you hang out for fair amount of time, you'll realize there are lots of fun threads too - cricket, quiz, testimonials, advertisements (good & bad :D) so on and so forth.

I wish everyone all the success for their B-school aspirations, and believe me, it's going to be much more fun AND easier, if you're preparing with puys

As far i know go with GMATPrep mocks and Kaplan are good..

Hi Sindhuri

Although, I dnt have much experience as i am still a student. But, as far as I know, scholarships in MBA colleges especially the premium ones is pretty difficult although not impossible. But even for being considered for scholarships u need to have a quite good profile in terms of GPA, work-ex, social work, etc.

Why don't u consider the top Indian B schools ( IIMs,ISB ) . Although they are difficult to get into, but they promise much greater returns. And I think that is a pretty fair deal. What say ??
