I am very much confused in choosing my major in MBA because basically i am an engineering graduate came from bio science background but i just want to be a part of any (mentioned as prioritized) Government or Bank or Private company jobs which suits for girls as i am going to get married soon i expect a relaxed job than stress and over time because of this i do not prefer software or programming so keeping all this in mind which major can i choose?
1.MARKETING 2.HR 3.FINANCE 4.SYSTEM 5.OPERATION but when i discussed with my friends i came to know that
1.MARKETING will not suit girls who does not like field work because even tho you are an MBA compulsorily field work will be there.
2.HR is good as its matching my background and i have ability in reading people and communicating
3.FINANCE as i am not a BCOM student its bit tuff for me to understand but if it will really help me then i can take risk
4.SYSTEM no question in this because all my friends are insisting to in my own field so that i can be placed easily but the thing is which paper will allow me to perform without codings
5.OPERATION says that it suits better for Mechanical Engineering students which is related with PRODUCTION

I can choose 4 papers from any core but the thing is ONLY ONE PAPER IN ONE COLUMN (means only one a one b one c and one d) no repetition as two a or such same way if i choose one paper in each core its useless so i have to choose 2 core each with 2 papers PLEASE HELP ME OUT AND SOLVE THIS CONFUSION OUT OF MY MIND MY TIME IS RUNNING OUT i need to submit my specification with in 2 days Please any one reply fast & suggest me....

Ssup guys, I have been meaning to join for quite some time now, and some how did not get to it until now.
I have been preparing for the GMAT for the last 20 so days, and still have like 20 days to go (Dday: March 22nd). I have finished the quant part of the OG and Kaplan strategy guide and am done with the Manhattan Number properties guide. After looking at the manhattan guides, I discarded kaplan and sticking with the manhattan 4th ed guides and the OG(12 ed + Quant and Verbal reviews 2nd Ed).
Ok now here's the problem, for the last few days I couldn't help but feel I might not be able to finish all the manhattan guides. But also feel that they would really help me break the 700 barrier. I am willing to put in 7 - 8 hours of study every day may be more if needed. so here's what I want your comments on:
1. Has any one worked out all the 8 guides in such a short time of 15 - 20 days.
2. If so would you recommend the same. ( I do intend to take practice tests probably 2 every week stating next week).
3. If this prep plan is ridiculous, plz plz temmi wht can I do differently.

90 percentile is good. You try MIT School of Business, Pune if you want to go to Pune. If you want to study at Delhi or Mumbai then I could suggest few good institutes. But these would be expensive in terms of fees and hostel expenses.
First decide what business you would like to work. It depends location and your interest. Don't worry about functional area. Manager needs to know all at senior level. Yes marketing requires travel, but girls could do that also. Don't think of relaxed job in that case you are in wrong business. You can get into teaching or research. In industry there is no word like relax work. Yes you can enjoy work but not 10 am to 5 pm type.
