Hi Everyone!
I am an MBA aspirant from Kolkata whose day job can be officially summed up as 'Assistant System Engineer @ TCS'. I have been killing time in TCS since Aug 2010 and am desperate to move to a top B-school.
My CAT journey started in 2010 with my enrollment in TIME classroom coaching. I started off with 94%tile in AIMCAT 1220, hovered in the early 90s for sometime, then deteriorated to 80-sumthing %tiles and then to 70-sumthng %tile and then sumhw 'maintained' the downward fall with 40%tile in the final AIMCAT 1201 :slpat:
I wrote this year's CAT like a loser and now I m looking forward to making sumthng happen at least in the remaining exams or nxt yr CAT.
I heard a lot abt PG from frendz @ TIME n i m here anticipating help & motivation from fellow aspirants. I just hope sumbody here helps me out.

I am Aravind and I have 7.5 years of experience in IT industry..Worked all these years in Manufacturing (Automotive - to be specific) domain in IT..I wanted to pursue an MBA in Operations Management (Supply Chain Management) in an Canadian Unniversity..Got to know about PG a week back and was really impressed with the kind of information being shared in this Forum and hence I am here..

I am a chemical engineer working in oil & gas sector. I am aiming for CAT 2012-13 and hope to crack it this this time. Last time I gave CAT 2010-11 and skipped this year so that i settle down in my new job as i just graduated. Last time i was pretty unfocussed and managed 85 percentile. I wanna give CAT my best shot this year.
M here looking for guidance and support as i am preparing without classroom coaching (hard to attend classes along with work) and shall join test series later. 😃

Hi Everyone,

I am Abhay from Delhi. I did my Engineering in Electronics and Communications and currently employed with Infosys as Systems Engineer. I tried for CAT 2010 but didnt do too well. Then in 2011 I did my internship from Infosys and susequently joined it. I want to crack 2012 and get into a respectable B-school. I would also appear for GMAt sometime in 2012. I would love to meet and get in touch with people who share my thoughts.

Your case is kindda similar to mine, I did appear for CAT 2010 and got 86 percentile( me too was unfocussed and ill prepared) and then i skipped 2011 and now aim 2012. I work with Infosys now and did my Engineering in Electronics and Communications. I have joined CL for CAT coaching. Any Guidance or help, you are most welcome to get in touch with me.

Am Suma..U can call me 'Chinnu',my nick name which i like vry mch:)...Working in HCL Technologies....i tuk CAT 11..It went welll....I want to get into my dream coll IIMA at any cost:biggrin:....So am not waiting for my results... i started preparing for CAT 12.....


I am not getting enuf time 4 my preprtn...about 10 hrz in office..and jjst 3hrs of prptn...Hoping 4 d best....
