Hi i took cat 2011 on 31st october morning slot. I wasted time in both the sections Quant as well as Verbal on one set due to which my attempts are pretty low.
Quant and DI section : I attempted 13 questions out of which 3 are incorrect and rest are correct.
Verbal and LR section : I attempted close to 20 questions, out of which i expect 13 to 15 questions to be correct.
10th : 68.8% 12th : 73.21% Graduation : 8.06 CGPA equivalent to 75.41% I have 3 years of work ex in Infosys.
Kindly guide what should be the expected percentile and in which colleges to apply.

Hello everybody, I have recently graduated in b.tech from a reputed govt. college and have specialised in instrumentation engineering. I did my high school from dehradun and am currently employed as a trainee in an MNC. From the way i look at it i am actually a sales engineer working in power sector and everything i do points towards marketing and bringing in orders by technically providing solutions to the customer. Hi, I am currently studying in Oriental Institute of Management, vashi. Taking admission here was the biggest mistake of my life, I bet other 179 students think the same. The Infrastructure of college might look decent, everything else is much below standard. Canteen is bad, couple of time we've found cockroaches in food(not kidding I myself saw once). Management is crap...i mean there is no proper management at all. No transparency in any thing. God knows how exam papers are evaluated. There is no scope of revaluation they turn students down by saying there's no revaluation you've got whatever u've written. Internal faculty except one or two are useless as they themselves don't know what to teach. Placement officer is an @$$#o|e.Hardly any of our seniors got placed. He brings companies from Naukari.com and boasts the he himself has brought. You might find list of companies on notice board, those are all fake and students themselves got job there. Upon that if your attendance in ANY SUBJECT is below 75%, be prepared to pay hefty fine. This year it was (not joking) Rs 500/- PER LECTURE. I had to pay 6000 fine for short attendance in 12 lects. Some students have to pay fine above 10,000!!! Not a single thing is good in this college. My sincere advice, do not take admission here except you have lots of money and just want degree. For students who are serious about their future, go somewhere else.
