I have done B. Tech in Computer Sc. (78 %)from a government engg college of good repute. I have 11 yrs of work experiance.My age is 33. I just want to discuss my profile with all of you.Presently I working on a techno-administrative post in central government as Sc-C, doing both technical & administrative work.
Now I wanna do MBA (Finance) either from India or abroad. After MBA want to do job in some developed country for 4-5 yrs ...Canada, UK, US, Australia.Preferably in Canada.
I dont think in India I would be able to get admission to top 5 institute. But yes I can manage to get in top 10.
In case of abroad, I dont have much extra curricular activities in my bag. I only know meditations, stress buster techniques, chinese techniques for stress buster etc.Philoshy related things.Interest in chess, cricket etc.In college times sub-editor of a college magzine.Good interest in stock market & earns handsomely in that.In case of abroad I will have to spend 15-16 lacs. I only have maximum 7-8 lacs with me.which is again hard earned.
Some people told me that Indian MBA is not recognised in Canada. Then in that case should I try to manage funds anyhow & to do MBA from abroad preferably one year MBA??? or should I do Indian full time MBA. then think of going to Canada etc.
Pls guide me.???So that I may make up my mind to prepare for CAT or GMAT 2011 accordingly.I am very-2 confused. ???

Yup Sakshi, IIMs do take GMAT scores for various courses especially PGPX & PGPEX-IIM.A,C,L,B ,PGP-all IIMs for overseas students.

I am here to know about any information regarding the final results of Infosys off campus drives held in 2010,in the month of september in kolkata
to be precise the date was 11/09/2010,and the venue was heritage institute of technology,kolkata.
I cleared the aptitude round and got selected for personal interview.I was among the 320 lucky candidates who cleared the aptitude round out of 1500+ appeared candidates.

Refer to previous CAT papers....u'll get a clear idea....CAT 2010 they say is on the lines of previous CAT papers, with slight variation in some areas..(according to the test takers of first 2 days)

My self Ujjawal ,i have 1 quiry regarding IIMs call or even get a seat in any one of the IIMs. Actually iam getting 90 plus mock scores but my past academics are very bador even u can say worst.These are

10 th -55 % from ICSE board in 2000.
12 th -60% from bihar boardin 2003
BA(Eco) hons -52% from IGNOU in 2010 but completed in 4 years due to University fault.I have taken admission in graduation in 2006,I have valid reason for my gap years .But i have also cleared 2 papaers of NCFM.

So ,what are my chances of getting any IIMs call this year ,my CAT date is on 23d Nov .Pls guide me any mentor of PG or even anyone also.

concentrate on scoring a very good percentile with balanced sectionals...you will get a call from IIMC and IIMR....
rest nothing is under your control...so it's better to not think about your acads at the moment...and you can always justify them in the interview...

Hello everyone!
I have just joined pagalguy.com...!!
Iam aparna from delhi...in d 3rd year of bcom hons from delhi university.
Alongside iam also pursuing CA(final year).
I plan to work post my CA qualification for 2-3 years and den do MBA from a top b-school(preferably abroad)..will be taking my GMAT in 2012..
That's what i have planned!!
any tips/suggestions/recommendations from you all would be highly appreciated!
