I am working for an MNC, with an over all experience of 7 years . I am in to Accounts Management.

I am here to know about ITM week end MBA program is it worth doing it or are they any good institutes in Hyderabad where i can do weekend MBA program.

Request the members here to help me out to figure out the best institute which is worth doing an week end MBA program in Hyderabad

Hi Divya,
I would like to clear out 1 thing.
Having 16 month experience is a strong point in your profile.Chances are that You might be preferred over a fresher whohas got same percentile as yours.
There is a certain weightage given on Work-Ex and you will score over freshers.
Just score well in CAT and don't worry about this thing.

Hi Appar,
Preparing for CAT'11 is a very good choice. But I will suggest you to join some coaching as it will help you not only for the basic preparation but also to increase your speed in different parts by appearing regular practice exams.
One more thing you will get in a coaching institute is that the exposure about the b-schools, which schools to opt for, what percentile do you need for a particular institute,etc,etc.
If you want it to prepare in home then PG is a good website, also look out for Totalgadha.com:

hi,
I am Upwan presently working with a French IT group, Steria as support function manager. I have been here for last 2 yrs. Previous to this I was working with Indian Army as a technical officer for 11 years. Now after two years of corporate ex, I want to persue by MBA with aim at ISB.

I am BTech Electronics originally, alumini from IMA and ITIL qualified.

Just as a heads up, what should be my aim for GMAT score to look at ISB?

I have completed my BE in computer science from TIET(Thapar university) PATIALA in 2010 .

I am currently working at hcl infosystems mumbai as a java developer .

Well it was not a kind of experience i expected from the company.

I m not a techie-guy basically..............i find it tooo static a job to do .

What most interest me is understanding the economics, psychology and organizing events and problem analysis,playing games ,gyming and reading newspaper.

My BE percentage is not good...........which is certainly a major hindrance for pursuing MBA ...............

I am newbie to mba prepartions and know-how

Approaches adopted by people to crack mba exams vary from person to person .. many people believe in the traditional approach of completing with coaching material , then moving to few books available and then to previous year mocks and then current year mocks as and when they are scheduled along with thorough analysis of all the mocks which are solved.

There are even people who have appeared for these exams before , straightaway move to mocks in case they got their concepts in place last time .

However, in your case, i think the earlier approach is better. Though we have less time for mba exams of this season to begin , you can still give a try to first approach and reach coveted B-Schools.
