Finally am posting here after being around for almost 3 years. I came across PG Oct 2007 when I started my CAT journey. I attempted CAT for the 1st time in 2008, got 93 %ile. Then again CAT 2009, 82 %ile 😞 had not prepared at all that time. Have been a passive observer since. And am getting started for CAT 2010 now, which I know is too late but am doing a job now so its worse this time round. But have decided to give my full efforts from now on & also to be regular & active with PG.
Education and Work Ex Background : B.Tech (Mechanical), 7 months in BALCO (owned by Vedanta Aluminium Ltd. )
Current Occupation : Asst. Manager in Projects, Vedanta Alumimium Ltd. (BALCO)
Why on PG : Looking for cool partners in my CAT journey, to help & be helped by fellow Puys & meet some of the most intelligent & fun people around, I know there are a lot of them here :cheers:
Specifically looking for what on PG: Information about B-Schools & respective exams, guidance & help for preparation for CAT
Aim for next one year: To do well in my job & crack CAT.
After joining my job my preparation had become almost nil. It has become very difficult to find the time & more importantly to give mocks as I live in remote place(Korba,CG). Have to travel to Raipur or Bhubaneswar to gv the mocks. But its not always possible so online mocks are my only rescue.
PS: PG has always helped to recover when am down & low with confidence. every time am down I just read the CAT experiences. PG has been a great help for a long time & now I guess will play a greater role. One experience I can't forget & i keep reading again & again is of prem bhai (prem_ravi). Hats off to the man, would surely like to meet him some day.

Hello guys, I'm chiaotzu. I have completed my Diploma in Information Technology in 2003 and will complete my Engineering in Information Technology this year itself. Waiting for results. I've joined the career forum class for CAT and other 11 entrance exam preparations. I had no idea about MBA 1 month ago and now I'm going to appear for these exams. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right, but hoping to get some help to achieve the goal.
