hi i am alpesh gheewala from surat,
i have completed my graduation in surat in 2009, and appeared for cat '09, i got 89.345ile in it, (more than expected) 
i got calls and got rejected from sicsr & KJ somaiya
ihave given gdpi at welingkar & also going to give gdpi at NL Dalmia
i have to do MBA either in surat or in mumbai & no where else
i have my last option for this year to give CFA dec '10 level 1
plz help me with some guidance coz i do not want to waste this year

Am not aiming for a very high end B-school but just a moderate one which not only provides me with a degree but Knowledge, not only a B-school's name but my self respect. Am an open person who excepts criticism and who is always willing to learn. All i need is a good Mentor.Keeping my figures crossed, here i start.....

Its good that you have your expectations clear. I will say if your are preparing for any MBA exam the basics will be same the diffrnce comes in paper but that comes into pictue when you have done the base work...
In PG you will find various resources available for you help for all the exams..like CAT, XAT FMS ...you can ask your queries and clear your doubts in various threads..

i am hemant working as a QA for a leading IT firm in Delhi. having a total of 2.5 years of experience and now planning for MBA degree to achieve my future goals. But m very much confused whether i should go for GMAT or CAT.
To what extent the CAT preparation differ from GMAT ?

I am glad to introduce myself at PG!! Alryt..to begin with..I am BE in IT and a 2008 passout. I got placed in L&T; infotech but unfortunately couldn't join due to family issues. So then i started working as an Information Analyst. I completed 1 year there and joined as lecturer in an Engineering Institute.
However, i wish to pursue an MBA from NUS or NTU. I am unsure if they would consider my teaching experience. I am sure though..that PG would help me through the dilemma i m suffering.

i seen lot of them posting their CAT score here....which even shows that CAT 09 - 96%..but not selected for anyoff the IIM's:-(.....
now am really worried...i dont have any work experience...as well as am badly in need of some top college to do my mba....am preparing for CAT..XAT ..SNAP and all....but will you plz let me know how much is the cut off for most off the top notched college in india....and can i really able to make up:-(....CAT 96% still not in IIM's s thats something which gives me heart attack
....i dont mind doing MBA from any of the top college anywhere in india...i scored 78% in ma graduation...so plz..plz...let me know....i heard alliance in bangalore and bhartidasa in thiruchirapalli s good...is it???
