I'm currently doing my btech. Im thinking of making a career in actuarial science. I did some research n found out the system...passing xams n  memembership stuffs....but just wanted to know the chances of getting hired for internship after passing 5 xams.... Also..are the chances very less compared to abroad???

Can I buy ACET study material without registering because registration is not open at present. But I want to start the Preparation for June Exam now only. Can I get that safe stuff from any e-store?? Or can I start preparation from other sources like some books or e notes??

It is a general question...ALMOST all the employers (including actuarial field) ask us abt our leadership experiences...is it all abt becoming representatives of organisations or grps or clubs...??any other way to aquire such skills?

I have cleared ACET and applied on line for student membership on 29-12-15. How long may it take for me to get a confirmation mail from IAI? I have to send hard copies before 12th jan as stated in the website. Advance thanks for any kind info!!

Hi all, i have one quick question, is module 0 the entrance exam for IFoA the same as ACET for IAI? if someone has passed IAI would he get the transfer for module 0 as well?

Hi Guys,

I am appearing for CT3 this april and I'm having difficulty understanding the course notes provided by ACTED. I don't think they are self explanatory and the topics require to be discussed in lot more detail than explained in the notes. One of my friends also faced the same problem and he told me to resort to youtube for video tutorials from MITOpenCourseware. But they are lengthy and aren't covering the syllabus in entirety and I'm crunched for time to watch the lengthy tutorials(working in Mu Sigma *sigh*). So I was thinking to opt for online classroms/video tutorials from ACTED. I'd like to know the reviews before paying a bomb for those? Also did anyone face a similar situation and how did you overcome this?
