I am going to appear for ACET exam on dec 2015.. What is the minimum pass percentage for ACET? Also, what is the minimum pass percentage or pass mark for all CT, CA, ST, SA online exams ?

Hello guys.....I am going to face ACET this December attempt and pursuing CA(chartered Accountant) course as well. I have some queries regarding the internship of Actuaries.....Some said it is mandatory during a couple of CT exam otherwise you will not get any job while some says it is nothing...I don't have that much time to do preparations for CA(chartered Accountant) exams, CT exams, CAs Articleship and this internship...Can anyone assist me in this???

I am an IT engineer working for the last 8 years. Since the beginning my domain has been Insurance, hence i decided to acquaint myself with insurance business knowledge too.
I have registered for Insurance Institute of India exams (Licentiate) as well as ACET, this December (a friend of mine suggested i give this exam due to my inclination towards maths and since i was in insurance field).
I am interested in pursuing actuary studies, though i am not quite sure what would be the future for someone like me who has nil Actuary work experience.
Are there more guys like me who are pursuing actuary as a career with a background in IT?
What should be my plan if i want to switch my career from a developer to an actuary?

I want to know.. Do we receive any proof of clearing the xams of particular subject.? Or we only receive degree after clearing all the 15 subjects..??

Dear Friends, I have a question with respect to actuarial profession, I am currently working for ICICI Bank and applied for ACET, meanwhile I had come across some comments by Mr Ian in one of facebook group that openings for actuarial profession are very less, so pls enlighten me on above comment by Mr Ian

Guys Institute of Actuaries has not disclosed cut off marks for the ACET exams few of friends of mine told me not to pursue this course from India or better do it from UKĀ

how much is the increment on clearing a paper generally?is it some % of CTC or a fixed increase??
