Hey, I'v got one query. I'v filled in for June's ACET. And syllabus provided by them doesn't seem to have coordinate geometry in deep, but few of the mocks I found online seem to have pretty intense coordinate geometry. Those already cleared ACET people, please tell what's your take on it?

How was CT1 Exam on 27 May,2014??
For Acet also do we need to use the tables? I am just referring to the stats pack and FAC pack
After clearing two CT papers ,I was appearing for CT1 in delhi this may . I heard some people talking there that after clearing 3 to 4 papers , some companies may reject you saying that you are over qualified . Is this a scenario ?
p.s. I am yet to complete my college degree so can't take job now

Hi guys need some advice... I am currently on an internship in an insurance company here in London working as an Analyst... I have cleared the FM/2 exam from SOA(US)... My internship gets done in August and there may be chances of getting retained... But if I don't get retained I will have to return to India and I intend on continuing with actuarial exams.. I will give the ACET maybe in December and I want to know if I will get an exemption for the above mentioned exam equivalent to the one in IAI which I guess is CT1, of course that after I pass ACET and get admitted as a member of IAI... Also what are my job prospects when I come back to India... I am pretty good at Excel, VBA in my work and work closely with actuaries in my team in New York... Any advice would be of great help... Thanks..

hello everyone....i gave ACET this june nd cleared it. But becoz the nov diet exams clash with my university exams,i wont be able to give the CTs. but i intend to give the exams in may 15. So i have to complete the admission procedure(scanned docs+fees ) ryt now or can i do that later given that i wont give the exams dis nov.????

hey...i have cleared ACET JUNE14 and going for CT1,CT2,CT3 in november...i have a non acturial,engineering experience of 8-years and my present package is ..around 11.5lac pa...i am 34years old....i wanted to know if getting into this field is going to be fruitfull to me or not....after 5 years from now....looking forward for your valuable suggestions...thnx
