I intend to appear for ACET Jun'13. In Stats Study Material, there are a number of questions on drawing graphs/ diagrams. Also, in a number of instances, students are advised how to draw graphs in exam. Isn't it an MCQ type test??
I am planning to appear for ACET in june 2013 , can someone plz help with below queries:
a) Do we need any additional material for preparation other than the study guide from IAI for ACET exam?
b) I am currently working with IT industry , Does this expereince count as the mandatory exp for being an actuarian? ( though i understand this exp. is not directly relevant )

Hi everyone..i am new to this thread..registered for ACET June'2013...I want to ask which of the test series is a gud option..i cleared mba entrance exams by using time test series..was wondering if there is any such gud test series for acet too..pls help..

For those who took CT3 and CT6, how does it went?
I had a great practice this season, but lot of silly mistakes nd unfortunately in both papers. Hopefully I will learn from these. But one thing for sure I was able to solve the questions and found the paper was moderate. Though I think because of those mistakes I will not pass either of the two.
Anyone with any other feed back on these two papers.

In study material for ACET, at places they have mentioned 'u can find this formula in table- page no. ..-- so u need not remember the formula'.. what is it? They give us formula tables in exams? or can we bring any specific formulae-table in exams?

(My Background: Cat:98%ile, Doing mba from IMT Ghaziabad in finance, Appeared for cfa level 1 this june, that's why couldn't start preparing for acet.)
2) The 2 pdf's are sufficient for the exam?

hi everyone..have read a lot about the actuary entrance and the exams that follow.. but have not come across a fully qualified actuary..is there anyone here who is an actuary or someone who has communicated with a qualified actuary..if so,please reply, would like to clear some doubts about the job prospects..thanks for your time..
