@Blu_Dragon - Dude i will also be taking CT3 and CT6 in may..

Have already given CT1 & 6, not confident for CT6...

Advice for one and all -

Take it from me, it is tough preparing for 3 exams unless you actually have 2 hours everyday.

These are tough comprehensive exams. CT1/3 are just tip of the iceberg

Glad to see i didnt miss much :)

@Escaflowne - If you are serious about actuarial, please get the membership as soon as possible. As they take 10-15 days to process the form and you can only purchase the study material post the membership process

@desert_rose007 - You just need the printout of the application form that u filled earlier. I think you can still access the same on the portal. For result i just send the printout of acet results.

@karan_01 i can see one form under profile tab, i just need to take print out of that and result's page print out where my name will be shown, right ?

@@karan_01 - I don't want to appear for the May diet but would like to appear for the Nov diet. Should i fill up the membership form now? Do i have to renew the membership later on?

@Escaflowne - if you dont want to appear on May diet then you can take membership later.

@piyushm807 the new people who clears d ACET paper will get advantage while appearing in the june exam. as registration and all takes 2 months around

I wanted to give ACET in 2013.. Could anyone give me dates of ACET in 2013?
Also could someone throw some light on the course to be followed after clearing ACET?

@karan_01 : Have you started preparing for CT3 and CT6? I took CT3 but even I am not sure about my results. Should I wait for the result day and then start? What is your plan currently?

@piyushm807 - See i am not waiting for the results as CT6 demands above average to Excellent knowledge of CT 3. So it will be wise to start asap

As far as my plan goes, I have given myself a break of 1 month. Will be starting with the new year.

@spy007 Not cleared yet, but tips available nonetheless

1 - You can prepare CT1 in 2-3 months with 2 hours daily

2 - Focus on understanding the concepts, dont mug

from the above posts, am i right in assuming that next acet will be held in june'13 and CT exams after that in Nov'13?? then can i start preparing for CT exams and clear 3 in Nov if i start my slow preparation now? and if i want to prepare where can i get the material for it?

Clear ACET and purchase it from IAI

i cleared ACET and got my markesheets verfied by bank manager with a stamp and signature ... he is Assistant General Manager of SBI... will this suffice... kindly let me know..
thank you.. also my photocoipes of markesheets have been signed and stamped by my university .. is this also fine... let me know at the earliest

@akaall : the study material should be available the moment your membership id is created. Just login and purchase the study material, without any further waste of time. :)
