Can someone please explain contingency tables ? When can they be used for hypotheses testing?

@piyushm807 they are used to check goodness of fit. The process is quite easy. Are you not able to understand from study material. if not PM me your number I will try to help.
@Barmy after you clear ACET you will be selected. The percentage obviously varies from year to year. During my time i.e last year i attempted all questions. There was more than enough time.

@piyushm807 No yaar. I have wasted too much time. I have gone through the whole and now solving question papers. Without solving question paper you would never get through man. and I don't have enough time. Just got done with 2 chapters. 12 more to go. I am taking this first time as well.

yes i agree with blu dragon....without solvng the papers u wil get screwed...cause the study material which v have been provided is not sufficient...that material is enough for uk exams and not indian actuaries exam....i mean v need to refer to text books otherwise v stand less chance of getting through....and now v got another 2 days for ct3...all v can do is revise properly...

@karan_01 I hope they postpone it but you sound real confident. Still shops are closed here. But tomorrow every thing should be okay. III exam is cancelled today, but Actuaries should not get cancelled
Any hint on exam writing techniques?
Guys just got the info that tomorrow is bandh in Mumbai i.e school, college will remain closed. It is likely that exam will get rescheduled, though I am not sure. If anyone gets concrete info plz share.
@piyushm807 obviously. It is a national exam remember. The same happen with III licentiate exam today. But it may or may not get rescheduled. Don't stop preparing. We have to confirm from respective centers tomorrow morning.
