salary package is never the same for all employees it depends on lot of factors,and as per the agreement u sign,u are not even supposed to discuss abt pay packages any where
any how to make things clear,what ever the amount is been on the offer letter u recieve is the pay package in case if any revision takes place,and change happens in the package it would be informed and any time HR is the best person to contact for that

Will the salary increase happen for the freshers as well ?? (any inside news ??)

infy usually takes some months before sending the offer letters just find out joining dates of immediate seniors,it would give u a better picture
salary,yes ofcourse there is also increase for freshers by certain percentage..

am really grateful for the prompt reply ... last year ma seniors got the joining in the starting of the month of july ... taking off 30 days for the joining letter is june ... and its mid-april already ... shudnt infy be sending the offer letters by now or does that mean the joinings will be delayed ??
another request would be if you could just find out that percentage and let me know ...

might be... when i am in final year i was selected in may 2007 and recieved my offer letter in september 2007 and joining date through mail on may 2008 with joining date as june 2008
my juniors joined in feb 2010 ,so it might vary i think infy might already have provided u a mail id of HR for queries,so better contact them any how there is no need to worry,as infy always honors the offers it has given

Now, I feel that if I happen to wait till december, I'd rather fly abroad for my Masters in the spring. Can anyone plz help me on this decision and also confirm if the news given by my placement incharge is right or not?

This time infy joining starts from july 11 for comp sc and it branch ...for others it is scheduled on october 12.. Regarding the fee hike ...it is 13-18%...

yes,it did happen for 2009 batch passouts the date of joining for CS and non CS for the same college is at different dates but we do not know abt the procedure for this year
going to MS is entirely ur call,if u had got a call from very good institute ,its better or else i feel going after 1 year exp would be good as infy experience is given a lot of weightage during admission(my friend got full fee waiver as he was selected for teaching assistance ship) but ofcourse the catch is he chose MS in computer science

@Its Me DDD dude,we cannot give a general statement for dates of CS and non cs people like that,as in the last year there were non CS batches right from june... and LOL its not fee hike,but salary hike (this MBA college fees stuf has taken the bet of us)
well, i got some PM's asking to let know the hike in salaries even if i send it to you u will not be having a clear picture and when u sign the joining letter ,there is an obligation that u do not share ur salary structure with any one (just like the clause of non disclosure by prometric)and sharing it on forums is a big NO-NO so i would not be replying to queries regarding the salary from now on in case of any other doubts ,feel free to post it here
