this is alex i got thru infy exam on 11th june ,n finisihed my interview ,i did the interview very well, when can i expect the offer letter. will infosys lets know me abt the rejection if iam not selected. moreover i have more than 80 % in 10th and more than 85 % in Inter but in B.tech i have 67.2% ,the infy ppl verified my marks memos before taking interview what r my chances of getting thru will i get the offer letter n i have degree from JNTU.

Relax~~ Infy has a very elaborate process and no deserving candidate is denied.... some undeserving also get in though!!!
They have different cut off for different universities. So you cant judge at a wider level.
Secondly, they wouldn't have even sent the original test letter had you not met the minimum marks they need.
I got my call letter a good 2 and a half months after the test. And even though i know its pretty damn irritating, try to relax a little

DUDE!!! are you in INFY?? do you know what BPHR does?? its HR!!! not CFG!!!
Please let me know the source of these facts... I would really be interested in changing departments then

Dont worry, if your interview was slightly better then your chances of getting into Infy have certainly increased. So keep your fingers crossed. Yes, Infy will send a rejection mail, like they did in case of Komal. You have no issues academically. So cool down.

The bond in INFY is for 1 year duration for freshers. The amount that the bond is worth is calculated in multiple steps. And you cannot arrive at a fixed figure. Some of the parameters are the amount of 'computer time' that you are using up, Part of your monthly salary, etc.
But, having said all that, quite a few of them break it. Not sure as to how they do it and what all they need to go thru. Personally, I dont think its that big a deal. They have all these costs already accounted for in the budget. So you need to have a reason that is strong, and that should be good enough.

well i've been applying for infy freshers thing ever since april n i havent been called.. quite a few of my friends who also applied at the same time were called... i sent my resume again even yesterday.. is there anything i can read into this ?? like i am rejected or something??infy visited my campus but since i had a backlog, i wasnt allowed to write.. heard though in other colleges that people with lots of backlogs were allowed to write... academically, 10th:85%,12th:94%,BE:74%

Dont read too much into it. There database holds over a million resumes, and some times it just doesn't seem to go your way.
The only thing you should check is if other people from your college with similar academics are also getting the calls. If they are, then in due course you will too. In my case, I sent my resume 3 times over a period of 7 months. Dont know which one worked out.
In short, try at other places as well. Dont think that this is the only alternative that you have. You will definitely get a call. Anna is supposed to be one of the best universities...

well reading thru the infy post i would like to clarify on some general doubts creeping up ppls mind.
first of all if rasputin is reading this "hi buddy".
read that u have been sent to hyderabad for training.
trust me dude everything happens for good.
the april 17th batch that u were supposed to join i.e the batch i am in right now is infy's experimentation batch.
they are testing a new evaluation poilicy on us, as it is the training is hectic and add to that this new poilicy the entire process is killing me.
@ all the others.
infy mysore is an awesome place.
as the saying here goes u have all the facilities u ever needed other than time.
the programm is hectic, but definitly managable.
forget sleeping before 12 once the training gets into full swing.
someone asked about the cutoff that the company looks at.
well........ as someone rightly said each univ has different cutoff.
infy standard is taken as 65% but for university like maharashtra it is much lower.
but then again it is nothing that the company sends call letter to only those who have crossed the cut off.
once u r here the company calculates ur cutoff and if the find that u r falling short of the cut off the can terminate u. so please do not provide any wrong marks for the interview process.
yes the date for joining can be postponed. some of my batchmates have postponed it by 3-4 months. it is not a problem cause infy mysore has a new batch joining in every weekend so accomodating u in a new batch is not an issue.
infy hyderabad is a much smaller campus. but the biggest problem there is accomodation.
it does not have accomodation for trainees which means u have to arrange ur own. and for a training program that is as hectic as this accomodation is an important issue cause we as i have told earlier work late in the night and travelling becomes an issue if u have to stay outside the campus.

i am a pre final engg student in chennai. infosys is conducting an off campus interview for select colleges here on july 9. i just want to know if infosys has any bond requiring the person recruited to stay for a minimum period. if so what is the bond period. suppose i am selected now (being optimistic 😃 ) and i decide not to join infosys after finishing my final year, will i still hav to pay the bond indemnity or does the bond period start only after entering the company. someone please help me by replyin soon

There is a bond for 1 year in Infosys. The bond period only starts after you actually join Infy. Please go through the posts above for more details

Im Manju, I had attend the Infosys Off-Campus Recruitment in St.Micahels Academy,Chennai on 11.06.2005. I have been shortlisted in the written test and attend the HR interview the next day at Infosys Campus, solinganallur. Im waiting for the result. Did any of your friends attend the interview on the above said date. If Yes please inform me, I would like to know whether they had received offer letter.

It usually takes about a month for them to send in your letters. If you have given the interview just 2 weeks ago, sit tight and they'll respond.

I also took the test on June 11th 2006, cleared the exam and attended the interview on the 13th of June. I did well in the interview and was told by the interviewer that incase if i was selected I will be receiving the offer letter via email WITHIN 2 weeks, but till date I have not received any mails(including rejection) from the HR team
??: .......Im very much worried because I completed B.Tech IT in 2003 and the first ques the HR asked was my date of Birth....Then he asked what was I doing these 3 years....then proceeded with the regular ques, puzzles...etc. Im hoping that they have a cut off for age as well(born in 1982) but not the year of passing....Venkat/Alex/Manju and All....Please let me know if the year of passing will also be a reason for my rejection(in case if im rejected:( ). Did any of you passed out in 2003 or before that???
