Infosys off campus requires that the candidatre mail in their CV's first. Then according to their percentages in 10th,12th and engg the candidates are shortlisted and called for the written test.

i know ppl here in infy, who got selected with exaggerated marks.
there will be a veification done at the time of joining, in which u r
most likely to be sent back.
some 2-3 ppl were asked to leave since they dint have the cut off (68% at that time)
No dear , The written exam results will be out by the same day..n u will have interview on the same or the next day.
You will get a mail foryour final selection in 3-4 weeks.

peeps here have told me that the infy test paper has 10 questions
how long r we given to solve those 10 questions
subudutta Sayswell, according to the advice of all u ppl, i've dropped the idea of joining TAPMI/NIRMA for infy.. now even the last dates for these institutes are over...i HAVE got the e-mail from infy saying that i have been selected and that i'll b told about my date of joining n location WITHIN 3 months...well, guys, is there any REMOTE possibility of infy NOT taking me now.... if that happens, i'll b ruined...i haven't even got the hard copy...it's just a mail(although they said that i should consider the mail as an official confirmation from their end)...but i'm still ANXIOUS...has it happened to any of u guys.....i gave the exam on the 18th of april...n got the confirmation letter on the 5th of May....
Why u dropped Tapmi/ Irma ? Even after ur mba the same copany would absorb u for higher salary. I dont know ur background anyway.

me attended the infy off campus today
there where 100 peeps in the process out of which i topped the test
now 2 of us where selected for the interview round.....and in the interview they asked me ba ma engineering projects, a lill ba myself and in the end they said that i wld be put in the infy training centre in mysore and after 1 year probation period i wld be put in projects.....so the sign inside was very positive.......they added that the conformation wld be sent in 3 weeks time

well complete experince..............ok here it goes
me got a mail from ma college some 1 week back asking me to attend the interview and today i dide.
me reached at 9 and we had a test at 10.30 for 1 and a half hours
after that we waited for 2 hours and i got ma results........found out that me and one more guy got thru....then attended the intv
in the intv
1)they asked me to tell ba myself
2)next few questions was on ma project
3)asked me tell a few things ba ma hobby
4)asked me ba ma family backround
5)do u have any questions
after that they said that u will be put in mysore for training and then 6 months probation period and then after will be given projects........they said thank u.......me said double thank u(arre there were 2 people in the panel)
while i was leaving they asked me to see if the mail add i had given was right and said me will get an intimation in 3 weeks

Thanks to you for sharing the experience with us!!! Congratulations for topping the chart!!
One thing that I want to tell you is that dont wait for 3 week and keep checking the mails regularly. It is quite possible that you may get a call in 2 or 3 days. Start preparing. Do you have a passport--if not, please apply for one. Brush up your computers fundamentals-like architecture, OS, programming fundamentals etc. Training here at Infy is nerve-scratching so be prepared. The campus here at Mysore is next only to HEAVEN(if there is any).

well it was held in a palce called st.joseph college of engineering where all students from southern karnataka where called in.
but buddy what do u think ma chances are.......
it definitly looked positive......but u neva know
and yes i have a passport that too a passport where emmigration check is not required...........thats nice i guess
also me amechanical engineer i have no idea ba all tht things u have told me.............i ca brush up ma knowledge on c......but os etc i am hearing for the first time..hope the training process is not only rigorous but also very good

well thx for all the help uv been to all of us...iv also got placed in infy and wil have my training in mysore(cant wait to experience heaven...;-))...khair i am a mech engg and have this phobia to programming and stuff..but it cud be cos we did only c prog n that too in our 1st sem...n again the teachers we had, made the subject all the more hell for us...
