now what is BGC??? I mean back ground check. Also they have given me the designation as Technology lead, level 5A. I have 7 yrs exp and the technology is Vmware.

Since laptops are not allowed on campus, is it difficult to juggle CAT prep along with work (especially for people like me who heavily rely on the internet as a resource for studying) in the Mysore campus? My doj is in Nov and i'm preparing for CAT 13.
@AM21 Hi AM21. As long as you are in Mysore, you will have internet access only from evening 5 till 11 in the night. You can use this time if you can manage your training. once you are put into production you are sure to be on bench for months, unless you are one unlucky fellow like me 😛 😛 (yeah, i got into a project within 30 days 😞 😞 ). Also you will most probable have the internet and again you should not fall into those unlucky group 😛 And don't worry there are many infoscions who prepare for CAT and many other exams. In fact there are so many infoscions i know who are writing CAT this time, that we thought of asking IIM's to start a quota for us 😁 😁 😉 😉

Yes. Process is simple. there are 2 ways
1) one, fail in all the modules till they send you out.
2) Mail your HR informing him that you are going to quit.
regarding the compensation : 0 in case 1(above)
in case 2 , It varies from 0 to huge amount. It all depends on how well you tackle your HR.
You need to prove that it it is essential to quit. Reasons such as higher studies will attract you 0 or considerably less compensation. In case, you are telling that you are quitting and joining some other company be ready for a hefty one 😛 😛
@naumi You can quit during training...Infact one of my friends has done that without any money.Just give them any reason like u don't like it thr..homesick or whatever....any reason apart from joining some other company...It will be better if u quit till ur stream training....coz after your training is complete...They might ask for the compensation.....

Hi Guys I have got a offer from another company and they want me to join after 2 months but since the notice period is 3 months they are ready to buyout. I spoke to PM, SPM and GPM but they are saying it is not possible. Is it not written in the offer letter: "
On confirmation as a regular employee, you will be required to give three month's notice or salary thereof in case you decide to leave our services. In the event of you having any incomplete assignment, the Company will have the discretion to relieve you only at the end of the three month's notice period. Similarly, the Company can terminate your services by giving you three month's notice or salary thereof. The Company may terminate your services immediately on disciplinary grounds."
