i am placed at Accenture as an ASE. m in fourth year of BTECH and they are offering internship program for us.I got to know that infy also offered the same for some college recruits last year.what was the stipend offered at infy?and what kind of projects were offered?

>also tell me what is the pay given at time of training in Accenture and how much is duration?(my package is 3 lpa)
>what is procedure/criteria for salary hike after a year at Accenture?

Hello infosys seniors need a little help here.
I have my infosys internship this winter and am due to join 23rd Jan. Received the offer letter today and there are no mentions of NSR registry and medical test are they not applicable to internship trainees?
P.S Just curious...

Stipend is 4000 cash plus free accommodation. As far as the projects are concerned the one i remember from the presentation slides was RFID.

I am in my final year of B.Tech and I have already been placed at Infosys...

But I have heard that the attrition rate during training is very high during training... is it true?? I am a bit worried regarding joining, if and when I am called... What happens to one who fails to get through? Does infosys give any work experience certificate in this case??

Congrats for for getting placed.
During training there are different modules and each module has its test you have to clear the tests. If you fail to clear a module you will be given another shot at it but if again you fail then you fail that module. But what i have been told is that you have to clear about 4 out of 6 modules to clear the training if you cannot do that despite all the retests Yes you will be asked to leave the company.

Sorry do not know about the work experience in this case.

And do not worry,training is not as difficult as it is made out to be. There is focus on intelligence and not on knowledge. Prepare c++ and database beforehand and it would not be that difficult.

Attrition rate is not so high and according to new policies If one fails in any test and again fails in re-test then he/she will have to join the new upcoming batch for training (re-training from scratch ) and company gives you exit only in case you do not clear even a single test in re-tests...

But do not worry so much even before joining, just have your concepts clear in C,Java,Rdbms(these are generic training courses). And you have to just refer the material provided by company, no need to refer any thing else during training(neither u'll get time nor they'll ask any question out of their material)

We had a campus connect program in our college and could not attend it our joining is in Jan and the campus connect ended this week. I have already got the offer letter. Will not joining campus connect cause any problems???

Not at all bro!
If you would have joined it, it would have given you an edge over the others. But it doesn't matter, they teach everything from the scratch. I didn't do any CC prog and ended up with a cgpa of 4.70

The off-campus batches generally join during Jan-March period. So, I guess they are recruited in Dec-Jan. So, just keep visiting freshersworld.com and do check in newspapers too.

Infy treats equally..does not depends upon the stream in which u have done BE/BTECH as it provides same raining to everyone...only you can decide whether u like IT field or not...bcoz it has been seen many times that guyz from core stream enters the IT field but somehow later the feel this field is not for them as their 4 year learning is of no use here....

I live near Chandigarh so is there any possibility of them(The HR team) giving workplace according to my choice.
