when do they send that medical test mail ? dothey define the period in which we have to take all those tests, can't we take those tests by ourself earler?
I am asking this because i have booked my tickets for bangalore dated 8th nov & now i have no idea what im going to do if the mail comes on or after 8th...
should i send them a mail in this regard, if yes at which id, pls mention that.

They usually send mail regarding medicals about 8-10 days before joining date in the mail they will provide you with details of test which u have to take and list of hospital in which u have these tests(by paying charges:banghead:)
There are many hospitals in there list almost in every states and not only in big cities but also in small towns so u can have ur medical at any place they only need a fitness certificate from the doctor..and dont worry u can have ur medical, at mysore itself.
Else as last option u can contact the HR Office and tell them the problem they will guide you ...All the best
Hey Bro first of all congrates for getting selected.. dont worry u can postpone your training provided you have a valid reason..like medical emergency or some sort of family problem or some important function like marriage etc. On receiving the offer letter in which your training date will be mentioned u can contact them and tell them abt extension...so be cool and enjoy.:cheers:

u have to get ur medical test from a hospital which is their list..they need a medical certificate in a predefined format. No need to worry abt the reports they will require only the certificate but one imp thing is that the tests need to be perfomed about a week prioir to the joining ..and the date needs to be mandatory mentioned on the certificate. If u need more info than u can send me a msg.

Infosys started the registration for 2011 in april and i have already sent my resume to them but they haven't started any process yet. Anyone can help me?? Any infosys employee can tell me that whether they will conduct the recruitment process for freshers on not. They have started recruitment for 2012 too early this time so i am worried 😞

Dont worry they will call u if u meet their eligibility criteria..and yes this year the offcampus are delayed but dont worry u wil get chance..and infosys always conduct offcampuses for freshers..so dont be panic

Then I requested them for the password and they sent me a new password. Now that i try to login to my account it says "password logon no longer possible. Too many failed attempts".
WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? I am a bit worried....pls Help!

Please mail them back with your concern. They will unlock your account. Account gets locked upon entering the wrong password thrice, and it needs to be unlocked from their end. Asking for a new password will not work.

You can mail back to the ID from which you have received e-mail communication from them like the new password etc. They create a new mail ID for communication for every batch. It would not be the same which we had used.

These things can not be generalized at all.. in any Indian IT company infact.. It totally depends on your luck and project.. In Infy I have seen people getting bored on the bench for months having nothing to do and I have even seen people working for 12-14 hrs daily.. But generally these are extreme cases.. Rest all depends on whioch project you land and your Project Manager/Team Lead.. and same is the case in any major company and you'll find different opinions on it everywhere..

WITHOUT PAYING THE BONG MONEY.. AS ive heard its ALOT.

If you have not signed the BOND, then you can resign any day. Just do not sign the bond.

There are times when you have pressure in every job. Just because there is pressure does not make a company worse place to work for.

I'm not sure how they have allowed you to enter stream without signing bond. At my time that was the 1st thing to be done during induction. May be few rules have been changed.
Anyway if there is some problem regarding bond and If you have some time left with you then flunk in stream compre and re-compre.. Many people from my batch did the same and left peacefully.
