Hey infy campus connect was conducted in hyd and d certificates were also issued...however i could not attend it due to health prob:-(...i am from CS background...will it cause any problem for me..im tensed..my doj is 15 nov..

hey same case happened with me. i contacted infy HR and was told that campus connect is a third party vendor program. its good if u do it but its nowhere close to mandatory.

even ours joining is on 15th. 😃

expenses on food have to be borne by the trainee and are not included in room charges.
There is no mess as such there are more then half a dozen food courts with a huge number of cateres and vendors including CCD , Dominoes , and a lot of regular dal chawal sabzi vendors.
a typical meal may cost you between 25 to 50 bucks.

How much u love the food is yet another issue

they allow extension on medical grounds.

They accomodate people in upcoming batches, it usually takes 3-4 months.

If you want to show medical reasons, i think 10 days prior to joining is fair enough. Take your own call.

Don't worry!! It won't cause any problem. It is not mandatory for everyone to attend as far as I know.

Can seniors tell me,how the salary is remitted ? ie are we paid in cash or do we need to open a bank account? If yes,which bank?

They transfer the salary to your account. Don't worry about it. They will help you open a salary account during induction.

My doj is 20th December 2010. I'm non cs guy. I want to join b school in june 2012. Will my bond period get over by then?

If my bond period gets over by July 2012, will i be able to leave infosys in June without breaking the bond?

Training period for .NET,JEE and ES is the same i.e. 1.5 months approx.

Training for finnacle lasts longer than the above streams ( approx 2-3 months if i remember correctly)

Assuming the current time frame for non-cs trainees, you will finish your training sometime around mid june - 2011 and ur bond period will start immediately around that time. So you should be relatively safe around july-2012 😃

hi puys,
My DoJ is on 27th September and I still have not got any emails regarding the accomodation n other things (the last email I got was about the pre-joining formalities) :-(. B4 how many days of DoJ will they send the mail?

Also I am not able to login into the e-joining portal with my username and password, it always shows 'invalid' . When I called them about this, they said I will get a mail in 2 working days but I still have not got any. Is this mandatory b4 joining?

Am I worryin too much or should I just go a day b4 DoJ with all documents in hand??
