The cut off last year was 92%ile
But there are students with 98.XX %ile also as they were alloted seat in IMT Ghaziabad but they came to Nagpur as they didn't wanted the desired specialisation there.

About overview, don't know what you are expecting?
Its a complete student run college
Faculty is out USP.Student faculty ratio os 15:1.
19 out of 31 permanent faculty are doctorates/PhDs
16 out of 31 permanent faculty have worked before, the longest being 31 years.

We have great infrastructure, one of the best in India.

Lot of extra curricular actitvities in campus

Mix batch of engineers, commerce, science and arts students.

What more?If you have specifc question to ask, please ask.

Thanks Akhil for the info......Are we suppose to select our specialization while taking admission....

Yes,you will be asked to rank your specialisation while taking admission

But the final allotment will depend on the rank you will get after the whole process gets over

Lot of extra curricular activities in campus

Placement scene is decent.Owing to the fact that just 2 batches have passed out and we have an average salary of 4.67 lakhs
Highest was 7.41 lakhs and lowest was 3 lakhs
One can't compare the same with IMT G as they are there for more than 20 years now

No sectional cut off till last year

Any more specific questions,plz ask

Hi Deepika,
Well the choices that you mark there are indicative of your interests. If suppose you do not mark IMT Nagpur as one of the options then you will not be considered for the admission process of IMT-Nagpur. If you have marked even one option as a course in IMT-Nagpur then you will be considered for the same. In our case last year people who had opted for IMT-Nagpur had been given a choice of selecting thier prefrences again at the time of counselling but that is only once you opt for any course at IMT-Nagpur in the Form.
I hope am able to clear your doubt in case you still feel to clarify more we are there.

@sony007
Its a difficult question to answer
-Need to consider things like 1st/2nd attempt of CAT
-Need to do MBA this year only
-What other exams you writing

But I still think, you should apply to be on a safer side. You never know.
